Jock, have a read of JB's post on PASOTI.If Exeter Chief's can make £1 million-£2 million, out of corporate hospitality then its just as  possible for Argyle to do the same. I believe ejh got his sums wrong.JB seems to be pretty switched on whether you like him or not. Thats Jon B not James B by the way.So that would make the highlighted bit perfectly plausible............As for the other bit Argyle and Portsmouth are most definitely the biggest clubs in this league.Oxford as has been pointed out,and indeed Northampton, who sensible could have also quoted have been in the first division, but are they as big as Argyle and Portsmouth. Dont think so.
You might be right GS. Everyone who used to frequent the pubs you mentioned may well up sticks and use a bar at Home Park with plastic cups charging £3.50 a pint because it has a photo of Tommy Tynan on the wall. Who knows?

I won't harp on about it though as I'm in lots of pain tonight and I've had a couple of Henry Weston's as painkillers, not conducive with rational thinking mixed with tramadol drunken

So, you've never sung 'my garden shed is bigger than this' , 'did you come in a taxi' or 'Your support is flipping inadeqaute' (or thereabouts) then?

It's what makes football fun.

Mockery, banter, pee taking, call it what you will, it's what football fans do. Along with, I would add, collect for fans that have recently passed and for 4 Morecambe lads to see the game at Home Park.

I think sometimes people look too deeply into micky taking of this sort. A bit too precious perhaps.
I imagine JB and the other chairman do chuckle when that scamp Ian sings those songs.....

Stop lying, you sit there in silence looking fat - sitting with 'Janners' is beneath you.
