...A prescient comment by "Guest"?

"Subject: Re: Private Eye Fri Mar 09, 2012 11:34 am

Brent seems to be using the convenient card for not forking out and dosh.

It was convenient that cheating prevented him form jumping into the transfer market in January to give the club a greater chance of survival.

It's convenient that there are fans willing to shell out to keep the club going and to pay the staff wages.

It's convenient that there are fans willing to take over and run the club (GASB).

It's convenient that the Players' Union refused to allow any deal to pay the staff.

It's convenient that Reid had to be sacked and be replaced by a cheaper option.

I predict a convenient miniature Grandstand as we will be either in the lowest division or the Conference. Is it a coincidence that all these conveniences add up to Brent forking out as little dosh as possible for his hotel and developments?"

Hindsight is a wonderful gift.....quite convenient at times, so that you can use the facts to prove nearly everything that you want.

Always two sides of an argument.....somewhere down the middle is where to truth might lie.

Are you fer real Zyph? Do you honestly, really honestly, deep down think that we are a bunch of manking gits who has got Brent completely wrong? Do you really believe that the club is on a sound financial footing? Do you really think that Brent has an open and transparent leadership? Do you really think that the money from the Ministand that was promised to us and now going to Brent is a good thing? Do you really think that we are competitive in this league after three years of Brent? Do you really think that Brent will take us to the CCC? And finally do you now believe he is a property developer or are you still in denial about that as well?
Ps. You are looking like the doting wife of a convict who refuses to accept she sided with a wrong un even though the evidence is stacked against him, apologists like you are as guilty as Brent for what is happening to our club, aiding and abetting a millionaire to asset strip our club, that one will never go away, you don't need hindsight to know that.

With hindsight would......

JB have not mentioned at PASTA New year meeting "revenue from one or two retail units won't go to club"

Akkeron's "professionals" wouldn't have published the Plan 2A and plan 2B horseshoe extension plans in form that could be read and ridiculed.

JB have offered openness and transparency before retracting "The PASB noted in the TORs that the monthly reporting on the financial performance has been removed by the PAFC".

For the dimwitted Plymouth brethren, it not only sucks but swallows too !

The reluctant bidder has played a blinder, handing out silly hats to janners in return for compliance. As easy as taking candy from a baby.

For we have looked him in the eye and he gets it. He's a fine gentleman. pig Rolling Eyes

Well I hope your blood pressure is okay after that tirade.

So the Grandstand aint big enough.......there's a lot of Div2 clubs who's crowds would nowhere fill that stand anyrate, let alone the rest of the ground.

Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on where you stand, Argyle isn't one of those clubs that you mention.

If the jester hat fits wear it, seems to be the motto of loyal Avivas. Is it any surprise that England's 13th largest city club and many of its insular supporters, are happy being a big fish in a little pond ?
We don't even share the ambition of the Gas or the Shrimpers ffs !

My Dad always said that Argyle have no intention of reaching the top level any time soon.

The fact that you think of us as a league 2 club sums up your attitude, some of us want to see the old place rocking again, that's not league 2.
