Gross number of users isn't really a good measure of activity on a forum like this. I suspect a number of them are people who have set up a couple of accounts - not deliberate multis, just people who have forgotton passwords etc.

A more accurate measure of popularity would be
1) Number of different posters/accounts that have posted in the last week.
2) Number of different posters/accounts that have logged on in the last week.

That would give you two measures that would show regular users, without adding in the likely effect of unintentional multis, or being too affected by users being absent for a short time because of other commitments.

From the members list 2) stands at 141. Can't tell the number who have posted from the members list, but I imagine the forum should provide a method of calculating it which the mods could use.

This forum is quite a busy forum and that's all that matters really.

I often wonder about whether I'm a Real Fan.

I've got a season ticket and I go to all the games that I can. Is that enough or is there some sort of secret initiation ceremony that I need to go through?

I thought you'd been through the initiation ceremony in the business lounge (where the real fans...movers and shakers...congregate).

It's pretty clear that a Nooligan definition of a REAL FAN, is someone that blindly follows, and doesn't question any part of the Brent/Akkeron empire building.

A real fan wants what's best for the club not the latest owner or themselves.

I don't attend HP very often for various reasons and I don't consider myself half as interested as a fan as most that use this site are, but I consider myself ten times the fan that newell is.
