I'll be watching the athletics - BBC from 1pm - with a special eye out for the amazing Adam Gemili in the 200m.

REAL sport, with no bullies and no lipquivering profiteers.

Nope.I once saw Argyle lose 5-2 at Cheltenham [Hodges last game,i think],4-0 down at HT.I thought that Argyle could never conceivably have a lower point in their history than that. How wrong can you be.

Think that was aTuesday night game where the cops totally underestimated the amout of fans that would travel and we actually took the whole home end behind the goal - if so youre right we were also shite in those days!!

Bandy - you're still pissed Smile

The 5-2 game was where I left at HT. The only reason that day is memorable was because at about 8am that day Redgrave won his last gold medal - Sydney Olympics. Alan Green's commentary is just fantastic.

Enjoy all. I'm out of here for two weeks. Staying just off Hartland Point for two weeks with my children. Lots of time on beaches and moorland in North Cornwall and Devon and no football and absolutely no forums, even this most noble of gatherings.

Tivvy - sort your bloody carpet runner out Very Happy

I'll be having my hair and nails done tomorrow ready for a raucous night out on the Barbican for a mate's hen night - so no Cheltenham humiliation for me. For what it's worth I left at half time last week. It's shocking shite we have to pay to watch these days. I will certainly not incur extra cost by travelling to matches this year. Home=maybe - Away= unlikely
