| Shez says the Yoof will be given a chance. Of course, a pessimists view would be that the budget now dictates that to be the only option. That aside it'd be good if Shezza can unearth one or two wee nuggets... [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

| I too was fairly sure we had a very low budget until recently but having looked into it a bit more:
Bristol Rovers had 6 subs, 5 teenagers and a 20 year old on the bench for their opening day of the season as well.
Northampton too had 6 subs including 5 teenagers.
Rochdale had the full 7 subs but including 3 teenagers and two 20 year olds.
Maybe Sensiblegreeny is right and all league two clubs, aside from Fleetwood and Chesterfield, have a squad as threadbare as ours. Those three facts seem to hint at that being the case anyway. |

You're no worse off than any other club in the division who are being sensibly run...............you're just being less well run as has been the case repetitively for several years now. You're not a big club by any stretch of the imagination and there have been bigger clubs in the Conference, so no comfort there and if you carry on in this precarious and off hand manner towards your Football League status you WILL lose it. That you are once again struggling after only two pointless games is no coincidence. The focus of the club is not on pitch orientated as is obvious, so you and your gormless in football matters owner will probably find yourself with a non league club before long unless people wake up and smell the coffee in the position(s) of power within the club. It's no good you banging on about "Little Torquay" and coming over all superior, they out perform you these days season after season...............Exeter City too; so you know where you stand in the scheme of Devon football. Giving kids a chance? You'll feckin' destroy 'em if you go down that road! |

Giving kids a chance? You'll feckin' destroy 'em if you go down that road! Awww bless. I like Torquay. I doubt you'll find many that don't either like them or are otherwise totally ambivalent. Torquay to Argyle, is like Donny's relationship with the Sheffield clubs. Sure, Donny have even been in a higher league than those two in the very recent past. Do you think either Wednesday or United would ever see Donny as a rival? Or anything other than a nice little neighbour? I think you know the answer to that, Merse. |

But the two Sheffield clubs aren't bumbling along at the bottom of the entire Football League on four figure gates though are they czarcsm; by comparing Aaaarg-nil with them you truly are delusional. Your continuing patronizing is as pointless as your season so far matey! |
