Andy Symons didn't ask his question when demanded some while back and he has a hissy fit at every opportunity since when he can throw his name in. Besides he has a dig at me when he feels like it so I just like to return the complement when I think he is being precious.

Which leads us to Andy Symons --

I have tried to explain the situation before to you.  It was simple, but you didn’t get it then and you won’t now because you’re a feckin simpleton.  Besides that...  Its already been proven before that even when presented with irrefutable proof, (Guilfoyles final administration report etc.) you refuse to believe it, because you’re a stubborn, cantankerous, ignorant, blinkered old fool.

But just to reiterate...  Symons fecked up the ATD meet with Brent big time.  He overplayed his hand writing to Brent – in secret on behalf of ATD, although he didn’t consult the membership - complaining about Newell.  Then when the offer of holding the ATD meet in the boardroom got withdrawn (something he desperately wanted because he’s a wannabe) he then tried to blame it on me by just blatantly lying (which I disproved by producing my phone records).

He then chaired the meeting and bottled out of asking any ‘difficult’ questions that had been submitted to him by those not able to attend, (not just mine – which he had publically promised to ask first, as the idea for the format had been mine)  he then went on and reneged on his many promises to publish a full account of the evening on ATD.  Why?

He has since wormed his way into being AFT chairman and onto the Pasb board – something he categorically stated on several occasions would be the last organization that he would have anything to do with.

As soon as he got what he wanted (a hat to wear) he did a ‘Hooper’ and resigned from ATD – what’s that tell you?

Simply put...  He’s a liar.  An arrogant duplicitous schemer who is not to be trusted at all, in my opinion.  I am told he also has the distinction of being thrown of the GT’s cricket team, so I am not the only one who doesn’t like him.

It will be the death of the AFT under his stewardship.  I mean, where is he?  In this time of great need he is nowhere to be seen!!

Finally...  I don’t know who “Roy”on Corrie is, and neither do I care about such dross, although why am I not surprised that you do!

And neither do I have a “dimly lit attic”. so don’t let your overworked imagination get you carried away.  If you really want to know... I am posting this from the edge of my swimming pool, so I suspect my house is far better than whatever hovel you live in.

I think it's your posting style Rickler - it's incredibly arrogant, it's as if you're discussing monumental events of World importance when most of these little incidents involve some fat old janner in a tent, supping a beer and calling someone else a "pillock". It's not that important. The AFT seems to be something you place huge value upon and see as some sort of political megalith when it's a collection of chaps and ladies who are fans. They're not likely to change the World. Your beef with Andy Symons is personal, so deal with it personally rather than stinking up threads with it.

I'm posting early on a Saturday as I get up at 5:45am during the week as I start work early - it's my body clock - it's also hot as feck in bed and the Missus was snoring. Why does it matter when people post?

Reason I was up at nearly 3am was cronic toothache and I couldn't get off to sleep having tried.    It isn't my normal habit.    Being humourless it is patently obvious that you don't get much others post and it goes over your head.    The dimly lit attic was not a reference to where you live or indeed remotely describing it as a hovel or even implying it.    It's the thought that you busy yourself into the small hours slaving over your keyboard.    I know where you live and always did.    I don't care where you live because, well I don't care where you live and only that.    I just love the "I'm considerably richer than you" part of your reply.    You may well be but don't assume everyone else is potless.    Which one of my hovels would you like to visit?    How precious though.

I have no particular wish to impose any changes on ATD.     That's not to say I'm not entitled to comment on the obvious obsession with pasoti and certain people on there.    It really is like stalking by some where everything on there is scrutinised and disected whilst on the other hand expressing loathing for it and posters there.    If it's so bad then why do people on here go search it so much?    Is it because ATD can't think of anything to post about without it and therefore relies on it entirely.    You and Tring are one trick posters.    You do a short one liner and almost repeat it endlessly about stuff from yonks ago where neither can ever seem to let it go and move on.  That's how I see you both.    Some people seem to enjoy it as they pop up with their own one liner in constant applause like groupies.     The majority of members on here don't post at all or only once every few months so they may not be that impressed but who knows.    Won't speak for the silent majority.    I find it boring where every thread no matter what the subject almost compulsorily have to mention the dreaded few or pasoti.    I see nothing wrong with pointing that out.
