Chadders has stated that he wants to stay and fight for his place.Thats a sure sign if one were ever needed that he doesn't want to accept a mutual termination of his contract.I reckon Chadders could be Guinaned.

My brother once bumped into Steve Castle and Jon Sheffield in the Bank pub. He went up to Steve and offered to buy him a drink. Upon receiving his request, Jon piped up that he too would like a pint of lager to which my brother replied "I'm not buying you one, you're shit"

Cue lots of laughter from Steve Castle and some of the other players.

Brilliant- another of Fletch's crap signings gone. Gilmartin was part of one of the worst Argyle squads ever- despite some claiming we were 2 players from being a good team

I thought Grobbelaar was woeful and clearly had no interest in the club whatsoever. Newland was terrible but he was keeping Shilton out of the team so how bad was Shilts by that stage?

true about brucie however his record at liverpool speaks for itself so i wouldnt class him a crap keeper where as with Rene i can.

In the limited games that i saw Gilmartin play,can't say that he made much impression either way-in fact,i can't remember a thing about him except that he went off injured once.Hammond was unquestionably the worst,a walking disaster area,completely shot away.Newland was terrible,Tony Burns worse,Dungey not too clever either.It has to be said though that Argyle have generally been well served in the keeper department over the years,the horror shows are the exceptions rather than the rule.

I think that Grods thought he could play at our level easily, even if he was drinking eight pints a night which I've seen him do.

I thought Grobellaar was ok be have the place a bit of a lift although if I remember we had dean kiely on trial at the same time but Mcauley wouldn't pay the transfer fee. Grob clearly had his mind elsewhere on his trial.
