| The attendance at any event at the stadium shall not be permitted to exceed a total of 16,388 persons (the current capacity of the stadium) unless an Event Specific Access Strategy has been submitted to and approved in writing by The Highways Agency. |

| This is a major concern. It's to be found here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]it's part of the Highways Agency's response to the consultation (page four of the PDF). |

It's a total figure...ie if we were to have a sell-out cup game and the JB official total is 17,600 there will always be a 1200 segregation. If that makes sense.....trying to say no more than 16,388 will ever be allowed in the Stadium subject to the Event Specific Plan which will be for concerts.

| It would suggest that the Highways Agency has taken into account the number of people who could be using the ice rink, cinema, hotel, shops, restaurants etc. etc. and decided that those people plus the current capacity of Home Park is all that the roads will take, without a traffic management plan in place. All those people using those facilities plus the Argyle fans would add up to about a 20-21,000 Argyle crowd.
This just goes to show how concerned the Highways Agency are about the amount of traffic in that area. The development could have more effect on Argyle than some people have imagined.

That just re-inforces the image of Plymouth...a backwater hicktown full of toothless simpletons that cannot manage large crowds |

| I'm informed that an Event Specific Plan could include things like police control of traffic or specific junctions. Could include diversions for some traffic and could even include one off closures of the ice rink and / or cinema. Although this would be unusual.
Edited to add.
Where does this leave Argyle in the future? Any large expansion of Home Park would surely need major traffic improvements somewhere. |

Outland road cant cope now with traffic so god knows what that area is going to be like once all the work is done mayhem no doubt. |

| Wise words on the dark side Given the max seated capacity is 17,400 best that could be hoped for over 16,388 would be 5-600 hundred tickets allowing for segregation so is never going to warrant the extra costs of the applications and actions required. We don't need all these seats. Scrap the Shelf. It should be remembered that the Highways Agency report only assesses the impacts on the A38 up to Manadon Roundabout. The real issues of Outland Road and within the park boundaries are NOT covered by this report and are subject to planning approval by Plymouth City Council Highways Authority and the Central Govt. Secretary of State for Planning's Inspectorate. |

| Small green_genie snuck off to the city
Strung out on developers and slash back planners
Ate all your Pasoti’rs while pulling the ATD’rs
Talking bout James Brent and walking on Newell’s shite
Home Parks a go-go and everything tastes nice
Poor little greenie, woo hoo
Get back Home (Park...)
The green_genie lives on his back
The green_genie loves Argyle facts
He’s outrageous, he screams and he bawls
green_genie let yourself go |

... and funny you say that... I had posted it that way originally and changed it. I think in context the way it is, is more apt... |

| I see Glynn is the latest Pasoti poster to be all for the development as it stands, just get it built, why do we need 20,000, if we reach the Premier League the £millions we receive will be enough to do whatever we want with the stadium. This coincides with him receiving the Nikkkkkkkk treatment and being sponsored to walk with the annointed one to Maku Pichu It really is amazing how little it takes to sell your soul. One thing I keep thinking about this, "If we reach the Premier League we'll get £millions" mantra is, If we do reach the Premier League and get handed £millions, wouldn't it be nice to have some money for Premier League wages and the odd transfer? The wage bill would take up most of that TV money in a flash unless we're planning to reach the Premier League someday and buck the trend by paying Championship wages. |

| How the feck are we ever going to reach the Premier League? Forget the mini stand - Brent is such an anus he thinks that someone like Carl Fletcher is an "outstanding individual" and was worth sticking with for so long.
We managed to get to the Championship because in Sturrock we had our best ever manager and we achieved an unprecedented run of success. There is no way Brent would recognise Sturrock (markII) or back him sufficiently to achieve anything.
I really don't get this hero worship of Brent. He has given us our 2 worst ever finishes in the league, our worst ever team, his development plans have been slammed and the fanbase is at each other's throats because of the actions of his trusted lieutenants. The bloke is a liability and I just hope he fucks off as soon as possible. |

| It's quite telling that Newell or Webb haven't jumped into the thread about the ability to upgrade to 20k on Pasoti. There's nothing they can say to try and spin it, although Postey tried and has now been put in his place by Graham Clark. On Twatter it's a totally different story where they are linking the address to write and be in favour of the plans to everyone on their twatter list. They seem almost desperate to get this shit approved. Bonus anyone |

| Newell has probably been told he'll get an extra slice of cake in the boardroom next year if he goes along with Brent's masterplan.
It's a complete joke. Whilst teams seen as "smaller" than us are planning for brand new stadiums at 20,000+ capacity we're left with a pile of crap penned in by a road and other un-needed developments that will prevent any future expansion. Well apart from one with a great big pillar in your way.
So the "likes of" teams will soon be the bigger teams than us in terms of capacity alone.
Get used to many years in league two where the only ambition is to be self sufficient and to battle relegation every season.
No more glory days of looking up at how many points we are from promotion, it's time to look over the shoulder at who can catch us. |
