Compton already knows he's dropped from the Ashes side in favour of Root opening, but he's scored a decent 81 against a full-strength Aussie team at Taunton.

If I had realised it was on I could've gone to see a days play today Sad

Strange scorecard at Taunton. Somerset were 304-2 and now they are 310-9 scratch

Now that's either Somerset giving their wickets away on purpose to give the Aussies some batting practice or it's the collapse of collapses.

It's a 4 dayer so i dont think it'd be them throwing it away.

Somerset have been shit against some pretty average county bowling attacks this season too.

I'm going tomorrow Smile

304-2 to 320 all out is pretty strange though. You should see some good batting then, it's been dry around here for weeks now and the County Ground was always a high scoring ground.
