I agree totally. I have to confess though, my last Argyle shirt was the Herald sponsored one with "league2 champions 2002" embroidered on the side. This did get an airing on the beach a few times for a couple of years after... I always justified wearing it by the fact it signified a support for a team that was quite obviously my home town, rather than some plastic Prem shirt. It was quite often the catalyst for football related chat at the pool bar. I do really like the baby blue one though. One of the kids will most deffo be getting one for summer hols. |

| I have the Erald one from 2002 and the white away Ginsters one from our first season back in the Championship. Only ever wear em round the house though or where there may be lots of plastic Pool/Man Ure fans |

| I don't tend to buy the shirts anyway. The last one I got was one of the hideous yellow away kits from when we were in the Championship. I only got it because if was on sale at about £3 at the end of the season. I only really wear it when I'm playing seven aside. I tend to avoid the footy shirts because I don't really want to be walking round with a big logo on my chest! I might be tempted by the training gear/'fashion' range though - no big corporate logos, and normally better colours than the replica shirts. I'm currently modelling a rather fetching black and green Argyle hoody (still not t-shirt weather up North ) Don't mind adults wearing replica's away from playing football, but only if they have the figure for it. Nothing worse than seeing some tubster waddling around in a football shirt. Having said all that I do have an Exeter shirt - needed something to stick on the floor around to toilet bowl for times when my aim is a bit awry! |

| Home kit ok but would rather have a lighter green similar to the one in the 80's. But as for blue, what affinity does that have to PAFC. Why not just use the secondary colour for the away kit like it used to be. Personally don't have a problem with anyone wearing a replica kit, after all its their choice. Also will not be buying one so long as there is a connection with any of the present regime |

| The home kit is ok,but do i not like the blue away kit - ''yuk''. They will sell no doubt and i bet a fair few of those will be bought by middle-aged men with pot bellies. Anyone who wears a replica Argyle shirt and is over the age of 25 needs a good talking to [it looks feckin sad] . For those who are over 25,a nice Argyle polo shirt is fine in August/September and in the colder months,a nice Argyle fleece [perhaps with a scarf]. |

. Agree, and was about to post, asking what has blue got to do with Argo? Anyway, I won't be buying either seeing as I'm of the smart Argyle polo shirt age. A thought - what about some ATD polo shirts? I remember when Piggy and the Liar and co organised some Nooloti polo shirts for Nooloti members. Anyone? |

What happened to green shirts, white shorts at home, and the reverse away?
Why have they gone for blue. What the feck has blue got to do with PAFC?
Not happy.
Grumpy in fact. |

| The away strip is fine if a bit Man cityish, the white area on the home strip looks shite. I like the drab green and my favourite strip was the championship plain green puma strip, but of course we all see different things. Am more interested in who is wearing the new strips next season than what they look like. |

| Plymouth Argyle reveal their new back-of-shirt sponsor FES
FIRST European Securities have been revealed as Argyle's new back-of-shirt sponsor for their 2013/14 home and away strips.
FES have become heavily involved with the League Two club over recent times.
Plymouth Argyle reveal First European Securities are their new back-of-shirt sponsor
They sponsor the Devonport End at Home Park and paid for a fleet of supporters' coaches to crucial games at Burton Albion and Rochdale at the end of last season.
Argyle commercial operations manager James Greenacre said: "We are extremely pleased to have reached an agreement which will see First European Securities on Argyle shirts next season.
"I am delighted we have been able to develop the partnership between Argyle and First European Securities and look forward to the new strips being worn for the first time at Home Park.
"The partnership between PAFC and FES has developed remarkably over the past 12 months, and this sponsorship represents another promising development in our relationship."
Nik Barron, of FES, said: "This is a major part of FES's sponsorship of Plymouth Argyle. We are fully committed to supporting the club.
"The FES Devonport End is fantastic for us and for Argyle, and this arrangement is simply an extension to our commitment.
"Along with our sister company First International Lending, which sponsors the FIL Family Zone for All, it proves the faith we have in the football club, James Brent and John Sheridan."

It's pretty. Thats why we should go to some other make like TFG, Super League or Errea, smaller companies that will cater for our specific needs rather then the utter shit that has been offered up by Adidas and Puma in recent years, paying for the make, nothing more. And switch to a lighter green as well, the Green seems to get darker with every passing year. |
