| Wilkinson declined the offer though didn't he? Said he wanted to be available for his club. |

he would have gone if the offer was genuine i believe or at least meet up with the squad a week or two later. He is on the standby list so hopefully he gets to play some part in the tour. |

| A training session and nothing more, WA had no Wallabies and rested half their first team, besides which they are shit when at full strength. Queensland will be more of a test but again, no Walls.
Robshaw and Wikinson?
Have a word with yourself Angry, Robshaw isn't in the best three England 7s let alone Lions and there are two or three players at Toulon I would rather have in Oz than Wilko, despite 10 being a seriously weak area. |

| Come to think of it Robshaw isn't even a 7, in fact wtf is he cos he wouldn't make the three best England 6s.
Wilko is just an old guy having a swansong behind a brilliant pack. |

Albion building a nice side. Can't get too excited meself, Lions always flatter to deceive while I foresee serious problems at the breakdown without a scavenging 7 and the Walls are better served at half back. Albion on the other hand were a lot better than their league position most of last season, if that isn't too arse about. 'twould be good if either you or the Pirates could make the leap but the sides coming down each year have such an advantage, the Welsh will be very hard to beat. |

Im not taken in by the results so far as the last game for example there were alot of handling errors which need to be addressed before next saturday. I feel the Lions will do it this time around though i just have a feeling they will. I can see it being 2-1 to the winning side eitherway, Albion werent bad last season it was going forward that let them down and taking advantage of kicks. It would be great to Albion in the premiership the setup is here for it and the pirates too who by then will have their new stadium built. However unless either comes into some serious money to overtake the same teams going up and down its not going to happen anytime soon sadly. I would like to see a 2 up and 2 down system brought one day, |

| Top man on the field is an ex Chief and the changes were nearly enough to turn the tide, wrong call at the death to take the scrums, should have gone to the corner.
Not a big deal, the Brumbies were a strong side and the Lions now know that that front row is not up to it as individuals or as a unit, Ben Youngs is a waste of space unless it is laid on a plate for him, you have to play a fly half at fly half. The back row didn't work leaving it open for Gatland to pick Warburton, interesting to note that it was Geoff Parling tearing off the strips in the dressing room, future England Captain imho and the sooner the better, Robshaw just don't cut the mustard. |
