| What will Nooly, Webby, Nikkky etc be thinking once Brent fucks off, leaving us with a shopping mall and ice rink with a pesky football stadium in the way laughing all the way to the bank and PAFC probably in the conference?
Maybe a simple 'we told you so' from us on ATD could be arranged?

| They don't care how village the club is, as long as they get their power kick. They are so thick though that they have already alienated all but the dimwits and Argyle addicts. They don't have the class to attract any others. It's the 6k janner club with a few more for 'big' games against Exeter n Torquay. Look how far they've come |

| Fookin 'ell, it's like ground hog day again, FFS change the record.
Without Brent you was dead and buried and heading to oblivion, now you are on the turn with ground soon to be broken to bring your stadium up to a decent standard which you could never have afforded without your benefactor, I repeat, NEVER!
Now STFU and get on with your desperate struggle to become, at the very least, the second best football team in Devon. |

| You've got to be a bit dim to believe they have that much power Tring.
Someone else will own the club after Brent and it'll be different to how it is now. /thread.

I REALLY hope you're right! But like others have said everything increasingly points to Nikkkk, Webb and Newell being 'handed' the club as a reward for oiling the wheels of brents takeover. Why else would they be so supportive of brents shite mini-stand? |

| I don't think Nikkkkkkkkkkk could afford it. If Newell and Webb were involved at any level, they'd last about three minutes. Brent wouldn't give you the cheese off his helmet for free.
After building the not-that-grandstand, he'll want 100%+ of his money back. He valued it at £2m without the stand - the 20% stake for £400k - I'd expect that 'value' will be around £10m with the stand. Nikkkkkkkkkkkkk couldn't afford that could he? |

Why else would they be so supportive of brents shite mini-stand? It certainly seems that way to me Freathy. No one pumps in piles of money into the football club they support, but someone else owns. I can almost see all these "sponsorships" coming into the final equation when the selling price is arrived at. Maybe the club has been part purchased already in a very strange way. Brent said he was reluctant, and I believe he is as reluctant as ever. Given he's no football man, I'm delighted he will sell up as soon as possible, but it all depends who's the preferred bidder when push comes to shove. Whatever happens, at the very least I think you'll find a certain little cabal will be coming as fixtures and fittings for the new buyer. What they are doing for Brent, they can do for any new owner. If some of us have thought it, you can bet $50 billion dollars they have thought it. |

| I have no doubt that's what the gruesome twosome are hoping for but there's no way any right minded potential owner is going to meet this pair and think, I must offer these fine gentleman a place at my side. It's a bit like Alan Sugar going into business with Rodney Trotter.
The nightmare would be if Ian Newell won Euromillions. |

The nightmare would be if Ian Newell won Euromillions. Why not James Brent did? |

If some of us have thought it, you can bet $50 billion dollars they have thought it. Was thinking exactly the same. Let's just say that all these over the odds shirt purchases, which are being used to accelerate the staff repayments, are not just written off as part of the club purchase? Everyone keeps saying Brent has a big repayment to the GT's and the balloon payment, but does he? Brent gets out and doesn't have to de-fumigate his car every other week, whilst keeping the retail park in his pension pot and the fat mountain climbers get their club. |

My Psycho says I don't need the SSRIs any more since I started reading ATD, apparently he feels the torpor inducing effect of the constant rehashing of the same old dross has calmed me right down. |

Tis, there were others wanting this basket case!! Not that old banana again? Plenty of you potless Janners were "wanting" the rotting hulk of the once good ship PAFC, a couple of shiite for brains psuedo property developers were looking for score as well, unfortunately for you mob they were as potless as the average Janner sat on the piss soaked MFI sofa in the Swilly shiite hole supplied by PCC. The issue here is not desire, it is viability, Harry Potter was the only guy, reluctantly, in the frame who had any money at all and was in a position to 'do the deal', any others that might have been around were chancers, potless chancers at that, Brenda went with the only one that had any credibility at all. Now due to the unwritten law that states, rich people never have to pay for anything, he has saved your sorry asses without ever putting his hand in his own pocket, but that is just the way it 'works'. Get over it. Nobody, that is nobody at all, with even close to the credibility necessary was even remotely inyerested in the basket case, PAFC, without Brenty Boy you were on a one way trip to the Evo Stick and your dream derby with Truro. Is that clear? |
