Apparently on trial here, being kept a secret!. Wants out of the chinese club he's at. Good record wherever he's play. Not gospel just a rumour.

Close season in the Chinese Super League (thanks, Wikipedia) but says below he's contracted until 2013 but him/manager unhappy. Do we have funds to start buying out contracts?!

Well, we could never afford his wages in this new age of austerity, so I guess we would try and loan him for a while, whilst putting him in the shop window for our Chinese friends.

As for a trial though, I'd look at his fitness etc and if all is ok, snap him up.

We were interested in him under Wobbly bill, but Stapes wouldn't fund it and he ended up going to Celtic 6 months later. He is far too good for league two so don't get one's hopes up.

Where's it all gone wrong for him then?

How does someone of his ability end up in the Chinese Super League FFS?

Bizarre.

Good player on his day, doubt he'd come. Also quite keen on socialising and fighting (seem to remember him being involved in several fights in Edinburgh and being banned from pubs/ clubs?)

The only Don O'Riordan I can find is about 54 years old and was their coach in the 90's.

Shaddap ZZ ! You and I both know it's only a matter of time before the normal pecking order is resumed. My guess is 3 years.

We did that for nearly 100 years!! of course back then it was a novelty, and of course helped during the 2 wars (easier to dodge the bombs), culminating in Exeter becoming an 'International' airport and having the likes of Concorde take off and land etc... But in the end no matter how strong your neck, it will ache, the arms too lol!
