I put money on the ABSOLUTE FACT that you spell checked the word "illiterate" before posting that.

Anyhoo, the EDL have a planned wreath laying in Plymouth in the name of Help For Heroes and for the murdered drummer Lee Rigby tomorrow. It's 1pm at the Cenitaph. Cringe.

Here's that edl list

With added links to convictions etc.
What a lovely bunch.

This makes my teeth itch, the laying of wreaths is a mark of respect but when done by a bunch of bigots and the true reasoning behind their actions then it makes it a shameful mockery. I bet Lee Rigby's family are well chuffed. NOT. Disrespectful bastards every single one partacking in this farce.

The family have asked for 'calm'. The Army have warned of 'exploitation from far right groups' and Help For Heroes won't accept donations from the EDL. Rather conclusive.

To the racist, xenophobic, scared, narrow-minded, prejudice ridden simpletons on this thread, you can argue with us on the internet and spread your Islamophobia but you can't really argue with the family, his employer or the charity he was supporting/publicising on the day of his death. If you do object to 'calm', you're simply as bad as those that you oppose.

And they can be voted out or removed by the keyholders if they are more trouble than they're worth.

Light touch moderation is the ATD way.

I find my position on this thread to be largely allied to The Red Star's and I don't consider myself to be a racist.

If you are allied to the Red Stars on this thread then you might not consider yourself a 'racist' but other people on this thread certainly would.

It's a bit more than racism for me - it's identical to people who constantly have a go at those on benefits, people getting annoyed when someone gets a disabled parking badge or when a family they consider 'too big' are provided suitable housing or when a community group that has nothing to do with them receive a grant from the lottery. It's selfishness more than anything. It's the inability to share. When people oppose them and tell them that actually, they'd rather not share their views, they get their underpants in a twist. Pretty ironic really.

I think most of the tracksuit wearing chavs in the EDL (I realise that's anti-chav) are worried about Sharia as most of them have children called Sharia.

In Tesco, "Sharia! Fockin' get 'ere 'un stop cryin' or you ain't goin' McDonald's ya' cont!"

You really are a sad person Hairy, ATD's very own internet troll. I would politely suggest you actually go out into the wide world (google and Wikipedia don't count) you seem to know everything about and get some real experiences and then come back with your considered observations rather than slate others. Very easy to slur someone as a racist without any real evidence. I would be very careful how you proceed and choose your words even more carefully.

I would also suggest you move away from the keyboard, pull the curtains back, go find your other sock and wash your grubby hands, there is a wide world out there, go enjoy. Now I won't be on here for the rest of the day as I have some unpaid work I choose to carry out for those less fortunate than myself. Enjoy your trolling. I am sure you add value in your own little way.

Interesting article about how black men are converting to Islam and that it could be down to them being racially abused and discriminated against.

There are a lot of truths in this such as how much more likely black youths are to be stopped and searched etc and the black converts to Islam have been involved in some of the most recent acts of violence and terrorism.
