| is going to be seven (that's SEVEN) storeys high.
No wonder the usual suspects are so keen to screw up the petition and generally silence any opposition to these plans. |

| So, would that be much higher than the mini grandstand? If so, we've been sold a kipper, been lied to and had the fecking wool not only pulled over our eyes, but crammed up our collective ringpieces as well. |

| They'll have to significantly increase the height of the Life Centre too so it's higher than the 7 storey brent towers hotel. Unless someone was talking bollocks when he 'reliably' informed us the granstand couldn't be built higher than the Life Centre? Surely not! |

| Why the need for such a size hotel ? I'm not sure it's needed will it ever be full ? With hotels closer to the town centre. These will be more popular |

| There needs to be, indeed must be, a scale model of this entire HHP development proposal so that residents of plymouth can see just what visual and social impact all these buildings and access roads are going to have on the park.
Frankly, I'm staggered there isn't one already produced. |

| Its not that I don't believe this and the source is a good one I just hope it's not a sucker punch of misinformation to discredit the Trust. |

Frankly, I'm staggered there isn't one already produced. I'm sure I have seen one knocking about GL. If I remember rightly, it was made of egg boxes, fag packets and tin foil. |

You forgot the sticky-back plastic, Gob! Dougie: I share your concern, but I suspect Andy's got it from one of those volunteer construction professionals. Either they've seen detailed plans, or worked it out from the footprint. |

| i dont think they will need a 7 story high hotel as it wont be popular enough to warrant it. |

| To give you some idea of height comparison - below is a pic of a prefab 7 storey block with minimum ceiling height. I bet that is taller than the ken dodd diddy stand. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Well as Webby likes to get stiff over his first in football things here's another:
Home Park will be the ONLY ground in the entire football league where the main focal point isn't the main stand.
The main focal point will be a 7 story eyesore of a hotel. |

| Thinking about it, the only way to get a 120 (presumably all ensuite) bedroom hotel on that space would be to head for the sky.
Unless all the rooms are singles. Or there's bunk beds. |
