is this how he wins people over... groping? Is that Nickkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk ? no idea PD i was just disturbed by how cosy it is. Excuse my ignorance, again, but who is that with Newell? Is it Jon B? Are we any the wiser on this one? I'm not sure anyone on here would know nikkk, but it's a bit bizarre that no one is willing to confirm or deny if its Jon. |

| It's this whole 'fans engagement' thing that is causing problems.
Brent clearly has no intention of engaging with the fans, other than to attend matches and fanfests etc. To milk the Avivas. It's an absolute con ! When it comes to decision making he only consults with the usual suspects and they nod agreement to keep their noses in the trough.
It's time the gloves came off. The vast majority voting on Pasoti and ATD gave a giant thumbs down to Brent's plans. The only support came from his inner sanctum and a few wannabes. Says it all.

It also strengthens the argument that the PASB was only created to dilute the trusts influence in the fanbase after witnessing how strong it was in the face of administration. |

| In principle I have no problem with any of the Trust, PASB, pasoti or ATD sitting in the directors' box or having tea and biscuits with any of the club board. That oughtn't to be any measure of integrity or performing a function. I don't like personalisations of feuds without good evidence.
However, in practise, if the PASB were seen to be actively and successfully doing their job of holding the club to account, I would accept this completely. If nothing else, it would show that the club were open to constructive criticism and complaints. But they do not appear to be.
The PASB as a whole should step down. It has been a fiasco from the beginning. Who will forget the ridiculous situation of little kiddies having the vote? We should recall the number of pre-planning meetings with the independent facilitator that were curtailed or cancelled? We should also remember that the consultation with the fans on the proposed grand-stand/HHP development was not even run past the PASB, their chosen route of fan engagement. |

Not just the Stand issue Knecht - PASB was not consulted on shirt choice (Herald) nor involved in any discussions regarding season ticket pricing. So far the only thing PASB has been ASKED to assist with is where displaced users of the Grandstand will be when the work commences. Right now it is not what JB said he wanted it to be - a vehicle for fans involvement. I think everyone knows my feelings that the AFT should be the vehicle JB uses for this - but it isn't and that's why I keep trying to make sure PASB works. Knocking my head against a brick wall? Maybe but I'm just an obstinate old Tw@t. |

| A suspicious person might start questioning whether it's fit and proper for PASB members to be given the red carpet treatment like this.
Especially as PASB members credentials are being questioned in certain quarters.
Or does the fit and proper test only apply to Damon?
Webb and Newell really are the biggest cnuts for their hounding of Damon while they support wankers like Hooper and Jameson and don't say a word about this incident, but that's not something we didn't know already. |

Damon isnt a yes man which is why they dont want him asking questions to the board. Same with the trust. Thats why all these attacks are aimed at them to try and silence them so they wont/ I dont believe they will ever succeed in that though |

PASB representatives will need to associate with club personnel in order to establish personal relationships and better dialogue.
If that's the way you see things, it follows that you must see Damons place on the PASB as unhelpful and counter-productive. Fortunately a great many see Damons place as virtually the only beacon of light in an otherwise 'keystone cops type' organisation.
You shouldn't have to cosy up to the Board to hold them accountable. Exactly. I think the PASB was always a silly idea, and merely Brent's way of bypassing the Trust. But I'd rather have Damon on there asking questions than in the Trust with the other scrutinisers, completely silenced. Otherwise the PASB will advance as a group of headnodders happy to support Brent's agenda. Brent will channel all fan engagement through them and receive resounding yes votes. PASB figures will be continually courted in the Directors boxes and receive the trappings of insider clique status for their yes votes. Damon asks awkward questions, and the clique doesn't like it. If anything I'd put a couple more Trust figures up for election to the PASB and see how that goes. |

| Looks like Jon's done with this thread then? I don't think we'll be hearing very much from him in future, save for the odd PASB update.
I expect that will be my fault for divulging that he had been warned about posting on here in the run up to the PASB elections, even though I didn't name him.
It really is quite incredible how the truth coming out hurts some people. |

| What did he say though? "I have told literally millions of lies over a number of years in my quest to rise up through the echelons of power at Home Park. Unfortunately this meteoric rise to fame and power has been rather spoiled by a handful of freaks and weirdos that like to point out these lies to my adoring public, every time I try and de stabilise the latest person who might challenge my lying ways they are there, picking at the scab, never allowing me to have a moments peace. There is much work to be done to allow James Brent free reign at Argyle, without being troubled by annoying fan consultation and I have picked up the gauntlet and ran with it, is that a crime? I may have posted as other people occasionally to make a point without the encumberance that my fame brings me, but again what is wrong with that? I pay my tax and I want you to beat down some doors and stop these people pointing out every time that I make a gaff. James is getting very tired with the endless setbacks the fans are causing and is fast running out of patience with me, please help." |

| Another who was happy to use this site and didn't find the tone of ATD distasteful when a PASB place was up for grabs and now doesn't like it but does like the view from the directors box.
Such a shame but c'est la vie. |

It really is quite incredible how the truth coming out hurts some people. I wouldn't take it to heart Jocko. It may have been coincidence that Jons post count seemed to drop off after the electioneering for the PASB had finished. I doubt it, mind. EDIT: I posted this before reading your last post Jocko. At least it wasn't just me that noticed.. |
