Yeah great track. The videos cool as well. They just emptied a suitcase full of cash at a packed railway station and filmed the chaos.
Wide open space is probably their best known track but I love the whole album.

oasis where a knock off beatles band that is true to say but the first two albums of theirs were great. Everything else after that with a very few expectations was crap.
I agree with Hairy J on the Bends too.

Dunno if I could definitively list a top ten album list. There are loads. Also many have two or three top notch tracks that would be on my favs list, and then the rest are pretty shit. There are a few exceptions...
Morcheeba - Part of the Process Zero7 - Simple Things Zero7 - When it falls Air - Moon Safari Primal Scream - Screamadelica Röyksopp - Melody AM St Etienne - Too Young to die The Verve - Urban Hymns Blur - Parklife Badly Drawn Boy - The Hour of Bewildebeast

Czarcasm obviously only listens to music when he's in a department store.
I only did six and had to go to work. Here's my other four.
Ill Communication - Beastie Boys. Most people would associate them with frat-pac style white rap but that was when they were young. This was a mature, relevant album. It's a complete fusion of funk, hip-hop, hardcore punk, jazz and rock. It's just fabuoous on so many levels. Ad Rock - R.I.P.
Metallica - And Justice For All. I didn't like it when it came out but it's probably the most timeless metal album ever released. It doesn't have a real stand out hit single like the follow up album 'Metallica' and that's why it's great. Long tracks, visceral and angry - this was Metallica's peak.
The Wildhearts - Earth vs The Wildhearts. Another rock album but they're probably my favourite British band. They don't write fillers. Lyrically exceptional. If you haven't heard of them, they're a cross between The Beach Boys, The Ramones, Husker Du, Metallica and The Beatles. I saw them live when they tourd this album in The Britannia when it was a proper pub, had a chat with the singer Ginger before the gig and he bought me a Newcastle Brown Ale.
Guns N Roses - Appetite for Destruction - it was the first album I ever bought. I was ten and saved up my pocket money - it cost me £4 (I think) and my Mum had to hand over the money as it was parentaal advisory - I bought it from Arcadia in the'old Drake Circus. It absolutely changed rock music at the time. It's a shame they turned into what they did. I still love it today and it's amazing to think it's 27 years old.

Have you heard the new album from Bonobo? Also through Spotify I found the name of Emancipator latest album definaty worth a listen. Obviously department store music.

I don't mind the mellow electronica stuff. Mr Scruff, AIM, Quantic, DJ Zinc et al but it's background music for me. Each to their own but it's all quite samey. I think the fact it's so overused in adverts has made it feel like soundtrack music as opposed to something you listen to. That Moby album was like that. When I listen to a track, I don't want to think - oooooh, that's the Tampax music.
