I haven't seen this being mentioned anywhere but did anybody else notice the assist Ronan Murray gave Rotherham for their goal?

They had a free kick and the players had all assumed their positions awaiting the inevitable long ball into the box. There was just one problem. No ball.

The ball had run on and was about 30 yards upfield, quite some distance from the nearest player and just inside the touchline meaning that the ball boys, who are not allowed onto the pitch, couldn't retrieve it. Eventually Murray noticed, trotted off and fetched the ball back for them to take the free kick. As he did so he was yelled at by both Wotton and Nelson from whom came a very loud "oi! what the feck do you think you are doing?". Very unprofessional (from Murray).

And then they took the free kick and scored.

We could be relegated out of the league thanks to that.

I hope I never see Murray in a green shirt ever again.

Sportsmanship out the window then?

There is no way on Earth that they would have fetched it for us in the same situation. This is a Steve Evans team we're talking about don't forget.

I'm all for sportmanship but Murray was simply naive and unprofessional.

He got the ball for them!!! He didn't take the free kick for them.

Was Murray out of position when the kick was taken, if not no problem?
