| I'm a visionary, not a bleddy psychic ! Quite worried about my state of mind right now. Am in sunny Tring for a while and found myself considering making the trip to Oxford Fortunately, I don't have transport at the moment, so I may have to miss out on the dubious pleasure. |

| Wednesday is apparently payday, and Brent reckons the staff will be paid!
If they are, in full, even for just the month, it will go a long way to putting me behind his bid.

| Who knows ? Another deferral could crowbar another 200K away from the staff and players and into the arms of the money men.... with their supposed leaders promoted upstairs, they're a sitting duck, and yet another elegant solution for the reported PandA spat. 200K+ is a lot of money if there are still parties ( and I don't mean Reid ) that want to delay further to enhance their position. And I doubt these people are in any hurry to bolster the team. The meek will definitely NOT inherit Home Park.... and nor do they deserve to. A sad show by the staff in defending their position in all this. Having come across many of them over the years as a customer, it doesn't surprise me. We're not talking alphas here. All the more reason they should have had some sort of union protection to keep the Ridsdales and Guilfoyles at arms length. I wonder if Brent will encourage Unionisation ... that will be an interesting question and a good marker of the future. |

| It appears the end game is nigh comrades with only the P&A fees as an outstanding issue. IJN is threatening to unleash the pitbulls if Brenda & Co decide to play up He is going to be a lost soul once this nightmare is over I tell thee. Having said that, I have noted a few of the CPs have been buttering Paul Roberts up on the farm, I will bet you a pound to a penny they are after an author for a book deal

No funny man, he will be far too busy working on his memoirs for the imminent book launch. Watch this space! I can see a signed copy up for auction on the farm, maybe our friend Nikkk will outbid Smiffy for it . Now thats a right Bobby Dazzler |

| We won't complete as Brent's solicitors, who have been working through the night, still have 500 documents to go through Book Titles- You can't educate Porkus (with pictures of his heroes [when in office] on the cover- Stapleton, Todd, Dan, Ridsdale etc) Argyle saved by PASOTI (followed by GTs and PASOTI Trust [in very small font]) Unleash the Beards |

| BBC reporting that Reid has now agreed to sign.
Just remains to be seen who's the most stubborn in not giving any ground, Brent or PandA. |

| I'm going for "Rejoice, rejoice, rejoice !"
The backslapping will be a larf, considering we are talking here of an outcome that was inevitable ..... going concerns the size of Argyle just do not get liquidated ..... but thanks to Mr Chairman for ensuring the dawn has arrived on time and on budget...... aaahhh ! sorry about that, apparently it was behind schedule and over budget...... hey ho. I shall miss the ludicrous rhetoric, IJN reliving his halcyon boot boy days, but not the interminable buckets and auctions. Arent those sort of things supposed to be done behind closed doors at a private black tie and port do ? ... what's happened to this country and the traditional British humility ? I shall save my celebrations for Ridsdale's departure. |
