He's still getting away with it. The poxy stand will be the end of the club's chances to inspire and become a force for decades to come. Can't blame him really, it's what he does and Plymouth people are dumb and vain enough to accept it, as long as they feel important.
Very, very sad but very, very predictable. Which is why folk on here and elsewhere have to do all we can to make Brent build a stand fit for purpose before its too late. Time isnt on our side which is why the trust's new group have to get the wheels moving interms of their objections or support soonish |

| The Trust's Working Group is meeting on Saturday morning. We're well aware of the time constraints placed upon us - at Saturday's meeting, JB stated that he hoped to put the planning application in by mid April - the end of April at the very latest. There's a lot of information being collected by the prime movers of the Working Group - Andy Symons and Richard Jones - and on Saturday it's hoped that an intense meeting will provide a large number of recommendations and improvements to the overall plan.
What is obvious is that a rational, fact based approach will have more chance of success than purely relying on emotion. And there are plenty of facts being collated to back up arguments for improving the design. |

My point is aimed at those complaining and not writing/ringing in more than it is about the Trust group but once the planning app has been given the rubber stamp (given Tudor Evans is leader its a guarantee he will approve it regardless to its negative impact) which why i say time isn't on our side. |

The fact that the plans are going to be submitted by mid April says to me that Brent has been been talking to the planners and they have already agreed the scheme in principal, nobody that develops for a living will risk having plans turned down, the appeal process is lengthy and costly, that would give until the end of May to lodge any reasonable objection to the scheme, time is not something we have much of! The only way to fight this is to get an objection that is likely to stall the plan and this would be the only way to get Brent to the negotiating table. |

We have been approached by one of the Councillors for Peverell (the area affected). Andy Symons is meeting with him on Wednesday evening. |

I have a feeling seeing as the council own the stadium they would have known about the plans before now. This isnt Palestine you cant just build a new house on someone elses property without them knowing about it first. |

And yet that nobber X-isle dismisses any other possible owners for being Tory, spit, councillors So it's ok to be a rich ex banker who wants to make a fortune out of the club but spit on a Tory councillor with the same plan? Someone once said Smithy was intelligent! |
