| Great job so far lads, both you and even the Turks who are holding Sarf to a draw, as long as Accy win to keep you in a sweat then it is all good. |

| Enjoyable,if ultimately tense,Home Park afternoon.Some pretty good stuff from Argyle in the first half against a Fleetwood team who seemed very interested in winning the game,Argyle got a break with the penalty for a shove committed for no apparent reason.Converted with aplomb by Wotts,Banton then flashed a shot into the bottom corner to give Argyle a decent cushion.The pivotal moment of the game came when Cole made a Banks-like save [but with his foot,i think] to keep out a downward header just before half time.Fleetwood inevitably piled on the pressure second half,another fantastic save from Cole,some scrambles and last ditch defending saw Argyle home,helped by a sending off for one of their players [can't remember his name,annoying little shit all afternoon though].Crucial win,need another three wins IMHO.I know Forza Verde come in for a bit of grief on here but i have to commend them and the rest of the crowd today-great atmosphere,biggest gate in the division today.Nice to see the players who played against Santos at HP today,the various bands and choirs were good,all in all a very good afternoon.
Record under Sheridan;
P11 W4 D4 L3 PTS 16.
Speaks for itself,really. |

| I thought it started to go to rat shit when the double sub was made, we were fairly comfortable up till that point, Chadwick was brought on for Reid who i actually thought had one of his better games today, Cowan Hall on for Guerri who who had a great game..baffled by that one, everything Cowan Hall touched turned to shit and it was backs to the wall stuff for the remaining 20, but luckily we held on. Wimbledon won yet again..looks like they're doing a Bristol Rovers and are pretty much out of it. |

| Agree with the Guerri comment. Cannot see why he was subbed and if anyone should have gone off it was Bryant. Thought he was busy and playing well. Bryant is not a winger. Reid subbed for Chadwich wasn't that contentious. Reid tries hard but his body language says he is a player with absolutely no confidence at all. Never looked like scoring and Chadwich wasn't a duff swap He did his bit up front to keep their backs honest and blocked a couple of clearances to push them backwards. No great shakes but not terrible either. |

| Southend have really let us down in recent weeks- losing to Barnet, losing to Wimbledon and drawing with Torquay. So it's more or less inevitable that they'll beat us to complete that turn of events. |

| One point would be good. Three points obviously better and the way Southend have gone recently it could be a result for us quite conceivably. Not predicting it because with Argyle that is a dangerous hobby but it isn't impossible as it might have seemed a month ago. I feel Chesterfield is much the same.
Having said that we will probably end up with nothing now which is also quite conceivable. |
