I'm chuffed about this, I have always believed that Batman was a far better superhero than Superman but Superman gets the TV series, who works out this crap FFS!

No he didn't.

Batman started airing in 1966. The "Adventures of Superman" starring George Reeves first aired in 1952.

Stan the takeaway delivery driver didn't even catch the criminal, it was his best mate.

The criminal was wanted for several crimes around Bradford and Stan had been on at him for ages to hand himself in. So after going to the league cup final in his batman outfit Stan persuaded his mate to hand himself in and said he would accompany him.

He decided to wear the batman outfit for a laugh and the rest is history.
