| Where's that bloody ambassador when you need him Ticket offers for ALL! ROAR!!! - Quote :
- ARGYLE are going Big For Barnet with a trio of special offers to help pack out Home Park.
The Pilgrims’ next home game against former Dutch international Edgar Davids’ Barnet – on Saturday, March 2 – is shaping up to be one of the key games of the season. The Green Army’s support could be vital against the North Londoners, who are currently one point and one place above the Pilgrims in the League 2 relegation dogfight. In order to encourage as much home support as possible for manager John Sheridan and the team, Argyle are: • Reducing all ticket prices;
• Allowing all Members to bring in two friends for just £10;
• Re-introducing, in conjunction with the Herald newspaper, free admission for children to the Family Zone For All. An Argyle spokesman said: “The Green Army is our highly valued 12th man.
“At this stage of the season, when every victory – every point – is vital, we know that a passionate home crowd, united behind the team, can really help John and the lads. “We want to go Big For Barnet, so we’ve made it as easy as possible for our fans, and their family and friends, to get to the game and get Home Park rocking.” The terrific trio of ticketing offers available for Big For Barnet are:
• Herald Family Zone For All Offer Children go free in the Family Zone For All when accompanied by a paying adult or club Member and carrying a copy of the Herald dated Saturday, March 2*. • Exclusive Member Offer Members can bring up to two guests for £10#.
• General Admission Offer Reduced admission prices for non-members and away fans - just £10 for adults, over 65s and students; £5 for under 18s opting not to sit in the Family Zone For All. The Argyle spokesman said: “We anticipate that these Big For Barnet offers will be very popular, so we would urge fans to buy their tickets in advance. “Not only will that avoid possible disappointment, it will also help minimise queuing on match-day.” Tickets are available in person, by post or over the phone on 0845 872 3335 whilst the General Admission Offer can be claimed online at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
*Herald Family Zone For All Offer is by entry at turnstile 20 or 21 only; Members can transfer their regular seat at the turnstiles on the day. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

| A decent effort imho, chances are it will cost money but if it stimulates a better atmos and leads to a result then what the hell.

| Nice to see a bit of effort being made IMO always thought £10 was more than enough to watch 90mins of shite |

So any ST holder can get x2 in for a £5 each, but if you don't know one it's £10? |

| I don't know what else the club can do other than look at Argyle's history and know that when we have a big expectant crowd we normally play like a bag of shite.
Having said that the eternal optimist...and all that.
Well done to the club for making this game at least more affordable.
I have to say that the all the end of season accolades should go one way and that is to the loyal supporters who have kept the average attendance at a remarkable level in my opinion. Over 7,000 on Saturday was way above expectations for the rubbish that people have had to put up with. |

| Fair play to the club for trying to get more through the doors, and making football more affordable.
My worry with these sorts of things is that to work they need a good performance from the team. If any potential new convert turns up and sees a dire performance they are probably going to be discouraged more than if they'd just seen the result on final score. The long-term impact might therefore be detrimental.
Still, if you wait for a good performance before trying these sorts of offers you might never get round to implementing them! |

Don't really know when that will be though. If only the current team had the spirit of Argyle teams past,where the grit and determination of those sides got them through on the day. |
