Geoff Luke

I don't know how many of you who have been members of PASALB over the years.....assuming that you have at sometime since 1976 lived in or near London.

The passing of PASALB's founding member Geoff Luke has just recently happened.......Geoff was only 65 years old....relatively young in this day.

I have known Geoff since 1976....since the Inaugural Meeting at the Ordnance Arms in St Johns Wood.

He was a gracious and friendly man....who was always pleased to see you again and have a chat over a pint and quite often a pasty as well.

I last saw him at the Hoop & Grapes in Farringdon Street last Christmas at PASALB's do, we had a pint and a chat over old times.

My sympathy goes to his family and friends at their great lose of a true green......who was always glad to see you again.....you will be missed Geoff ....the end of an era.

Shame he had to go with the club at an all time low, mind you things like the passing of a friend put things in perspective.
