It is the 'so far' that concerns me. If 'important figures' are depicted, who chooses them. Do you choose people who have been a season ticket holder for donkey's years, someone who helps on a voluntary basis with disabled fans, the drummer, the GTs, people who travel 500 miles to get to Home Park, the programme sellers - the possibilities are endless. No matter who is chosen the result will be the same - jealousy and more in fighting. Stick to players only please.

He has issues, Nikkk, it's a bit like the odd one out in every group, you all sort of get used to him, we try and pretend he isn't there, but he is shunned by his real family and we feel a bit sorry for him. I'm talking about Tidsdale btw.

To be honest I expected Nikk to do a presidential style flounce in an attempt to discredit ATD, to his credit he hasn't done that.
Not sure if you can say Nikk, but what's the cost of these things, do you know if it's possible for fans to purchase such a thing and have their own style? I only ask in case you were inclined to decline a Trust mural and such a thing would be a great for advertising the Trust.

Thanks Nikk, would you consider a mural for the Trust, I can't think of a better way for a tribute to the fans, what do you think Nikk?

Explain a bit more how the trust mural would be a tribute to the fans.

A sort of 'I came, I saw, I conquered' type thing.
Then retreated to Gaul the next day and took plaudits from Rome.
Beware Marc Anthony when you get there...those red boots don't impress everyone.

Well it's a "fans" Trust Nikkk, surely that doesn't need explaining. I know we all have our differences with aspects of the Trust, but as the pres once said, it's a vital cog in the future of the club and I'm sure that even James would agree considering how vital it was to the survival of the club. If there was no Trust there would be no club today Nikk, that alone should make it an outstanding candidate. Surely there can be no bigger advocate for the club than the Trust?
So what do you think Nikk?

Love the language and if I wasn't so tired would find a few gems from Lear and The Tempest ( I'm sure you can ) But no not a conquest visit, just wanted to deal with the loan shark issues etc. And make the point that I and FES are just supporting the club !

You mean you and FES are supporting the club?
ATD ought to charge for adverts......
Serious question - what is the difference between a 'loan shark' and a loan company?
I also want to reiterate the comments posted by ....... errrr ..... someone earlier: outside Internetland many people know nothing about pasoti and (even more hard to believe) ATD! Would it not make more sense to take out out of the gift of pasoti & involve the wider fan-base in some way?

I don't want to see murals advertising any fans group. There's enough advertising space in the ground already without plastering groups names on murals.
Unless of course the club used it as another source of income. I'm sure I read somewhere that an average advertising board at Home Park for a season was in the region of £750. So a mural that might be there for 10 years advertising someone could bring in £7500. Prominent positions, like opposite the grandstand in full view of tv cameras should be at a premium price.
I still don't think murals celebrating past players should carry any advertising at all though.
Bloody place will end up looking like America!
While I think about it, if anyone from the club is looking in, when it starts to get dark, turn down the lights on that bloody electronic advertising, fans in the grandstand want to see the players ( god knows why) not multi-coloured luminous advertising that turns the players into silhouettes.

Hi Nikkk - please stop paying off Brent's debts and buy the club a striker with your sponsorship.
Also do you condone Newell, Webb & Jones setting up multi accounts on Pasoti specifically to target the democratically elected fans Trust as well as players and supporters?
Hi Mate,It's not as simple as that im afraid. All i can do is support generally I cant practically buy a player, but the club can if the underlying support from all of us holds up. I'll save comments on the fans trust for another day.
Why save comments on the fans trust for another day?
I'll take it then that you do infact condone the actions of Newell, Webb , Jones and others and their shabby use of multi accounts to undermine the trust, players and ordinary fans. Pathetic.

I assume Nikkk came he saw and deleted himself, I just don't know how this site will continue without his insight, his inspiration, his wisdom, they way he lead all us plebs away from all those untruths and guided back to the path of honesty and transparency. God speed Nikkk and may your APR go with you.

Amazing. The loan shark wants to be taken seriously yet deletes his account again. Behaviour akin to somebody probably hiding something.
Just in case your Nikkkk wants to quote some Shakespeare (it aint difficult):
Neither a borrower nor a lender be, for loan oft loses both itself and friend and borrowing dulls the edge of husbandry.
Hamlet Act 1, scene 3, 75–77
Old Polonius (Brent) counsels his hotheaded son Nikkk, who is about to embark for Plymouth for his gentleman's education (see THE ARGYLE PATH). While he still has the chance, Brent wholesales a stockroom of aphorisms, the most famous of which is "Neither a borrower nor a lender be."
Brents terms, there is little to argue with in his perhaps ungenerous advice. His logic is thus: lending money to friends is risky, because hitching debt onto personal relationships can cause resentment and, in the case of default, loses the lender both his money and his friend. Borrowing invites more private dangers: it supplants domestic thrift ("husbandry")—in Brent's eyes, an important gentlemanly value.
