The quicker Brent Jones Webb and Newell get out of pafc the better.
I'm sure he also opened the meeting by saying the he/ Brenty didn't want to be involved with Internet squabbles

Yep, but its okay to start an internet squabble when you want to be the Duchess of Derriford though isn't it Peter.

I wonder if any of our posters are friends with the Stapletons
I wonder if they know who wrote the Duchess blog?

Whilst I'm as disgusted as many about the goings on behind the scene up at HP, the thought that the press would have any interest in the shenanigans of a piddling little football club at the bottom of the league in a remote corner of the UK is, frankly, laughable.
I'm stll just about enough of a supporter of the club to hope that our focus should be on John Sheridan and his efforts to pull off mission impossible.
Readers of this site, be they members or guests, will be well aware of the behaviour of some of the folk who've elbowed their way to the front at our club and will have been able to form a judgement. Whether there's any value in rehashing some of these issues time and time again is of any benefit I'm not so sure.

I wonder if PJ leant forward and reminded PL2 about this little quote from the diaries when they were tucked up at Vale Park:
"Looks like Brent is in pole position to take the club out of Brenda's hands.
But the Buttivant chap is still in there, stirring things us. Waving his Barclaycard credit limit around, pretending it's proof of funding!
(By the way girls - he's hardly a looker, is he. No way - not even after an evening on the Diamond White! LOL!)
Paul's quite interested in the Hillingdon Hulk, because he's heard he may be offering the unsecured creditors a tiny bit more.
So is little Ian de Lar, who seems to have stopped calling us 24 hours a day for info. I reckon he's on Buttie's payroll!
But he doesn't say anything about the football debts, and that would be bye-bye to the Football League!"

I agree Charlie. ATD is missing a trick but how can it be overcome?

I can't contemplate going anywhere near the club until these people have left. OK I haven't been very often for at least 3 yrs but I did see the inevitable decline coming years ago and now the self promoting ones are actually involved , it's game over for me.................I'm not happy that my parochial club has now descended into being village and I blame them. I shall still poke them with my ugly stick for making my club a laughing stock.

I'll leave this now but before I go...one quick quiz question.
Who uttered these words one year ago next week?
Quote :
"I have got an informal mission statement in my head, which is I want Plymouth Argyle to be regarded as the best run club in the country within a couple of years, but in a new sort of way.
"In a way that involves being totally welcoming to all groups in the Plymouth community and, indeed, across Devon and Cornwall.
"I want us to be very transparent and open, I want things to be planned, I want us to be incredibly customer friendly – and I also want us to have a very good football team.
"James has used the words 'community asset' and I think they are the right ones.
"I think Plymouth Argyle can be a community asset which builds its competitive strength on the pitch just by being incredibly unified and one big team together"

Admirable sentiments and if successful would allow him to carry out his main business interest and then cash in on a successful club................... pity he chose divisive, dimwitted bullies to be his advisors and henchmen.............. I mean, who told him Fletch had a clue, let alone exceptional qualities ?

The funny thing is, you boys have deleted an account after I made my post last night, that's odd don't you think? So up until I made my post he was using two accounts. He may not be now but he was up until last night. So someone knew about the two accounts. The other account we know about wasn't in his real name by the way.
Who cares anyway. I just thought it was worth mentioning and it was it seems.
So Greenthing isn't quite telling the truth, but the pasoti mod team aren't corrupt

I was all for taking this further and stirring up more shit but you only need to read greenthings post to see that these slimeballs, Jones included, will just carry on doing as they please.
So an Argyle directors answer to fans who are fed up of being an amateurish outfit, a laughing stock, is to tell them to basically feck off and support someone else.
The Argyle fans Trust take concerns to the owner and are basically told to feck off and keep your noses out because he doesn't recognise them as a fans representative body.
The club president is in up to his neck in dodgy business online, suppressing any dissent by posting under aliases, attacking the trust he once held so dear, and Mr Brents chauffeur who sits in the directors box at every game and seems to have some role in the clubs commercial department is the worst internet bully and rogue I have ever come across.
The largest online fans forum has become the clubs unofficial mouthpiece where the attacks on any dissenters take place, along with some downright devious activities which are all performed with a common goal in mind, to protect the owner and his henchmen from any blame or criticism for the outrageous behaviour they are behind.
The rewards for Pasoti? Ian de lar has had his seat in the directors box, Ponty has his 90 minutes of fame booked in already, and I would suggest more will be happening in future. I would also hazard a guess that nikkk who sponsors everything at the club now has or is financing some of the shenanigans as he did the aeroplane stunt over Sid James Park.
ATD has become the enemy for the club and Pasoti. Whether Newell is sole owner or co-owner matters not, nor does it matter if he is a mod or if officially it is his son or daughter authorised to perform mod duties.
Newell is a thug. A bullying coward who has carried out these attacks on various sites against God knows how many fans over the years, recently sending a real gentleman battling cancer a white feather calling him a coward. Chris Webb the socialist trade union official scab and sellout wanted Peggy prior removed from her voluntary unpaid article in the matchday programme for questioning the socialists beliefs while he's hobnobbing with the directors he used to stand up to and hound for answers, transparency he said he wanted, so Peggy was removed immediately.
An Argyle ladies coach, again a volunteer, was told his services were no longer required after he performed the dastardly deed of joining a thread on Pasoti conjecturing who might be the next Argyle manager IF Carl Fletcher left.
The Trust has been attacked and attacked until it creaked and board members resigned, so it regrouped and started again only to come under fire again from the same people carrying out all of the aforementioned skullduggery, and then it's support was diluted by the setting up of the club sanctioned PASB, which had elections that would shame a dictatorial African country, overseen of course by the election expert club president, Chris Webb.
The PASB who allowed children under 5 to vote and has two board members who represented this fan by secretly trying to track me down and settled formy disabled mothers details instead, and then passed them round to guess who on a GT'S coach last season? Yup Ian Newell, sat next to the club president.
This all happened at the same time that I was receiving anonymous threats which have been linked to the club president, and he and Ian Newell blamed these threats over and over on a young club employee they thought it would be safe to name, again and again.
While all this has been going on the club has sunk further and further towards relegation to the BSP and non league ignominy, but there can still be no criticism or the dogs will be released again to do more of these deeds.
All in all I've gotten to the point where I can't be bothered anymore, couldn't care less now about the club I've supported for 30 years bow, who's president and commercial director or whatever Ian Newell is have made it abundantly clear my support isn't wanted at the club anymore. Just like Peter Jones made it clear that his support isn't needed or wanted either.
That also goes for trust board members past and present. Gareth Nicholson and Andy Symons have been told in no uncertain terms what the club employees think of them. John Lloyd was also told in the most cowardly way by a PASB member that basically his support isn't wanted either.
John Lloyd has stuck with it though, as has Andy, Gareth and john Petrie, but I've had enough now. I've heard and seen enough now to know I'm not required or wanted as a customer, along with all those others and a large number of posters on here.
It's been made blindingly obvious that anyone who posts on ATD is persona non grata so I'm not going to fight it any more. It's not worth it anymore. This isn't the Plymouth Argyle I grew up loving, spending all my money on. Following all over the country, not as religiously as Mr Newell, nobody has, he's Mr Argyle. Well he's welcome to it, as is Chris Webb and all the others.
I'll stick around on here posting on the odd thread but won't be mentioning anything about Newell, Webb, Jones, Hooper or whatever, just using the site socially now.
Well done to the people I've mentioned, they've done what they intended and I'm not going to go any more grey worrying about Argyle now, just like Peggy doesn't since she was stabbed in the back by Webb and Jones.
Halftime threads and general chat for me from now on. Newell can break out the champagne tonight, another 30 yr supporter down the pan along with any chance of my son following Argyle in the future.
