| I know when I came on here a few days ago I said that one of my problems with this site is that it seems more fixated on pasoti rather than Argyle....... BUT, if it is true that one of the mods over there actually interfered with someone's post they should be hung, drawn, quartered and have their name published on there. It confirms even more to me what a stitch up that place is. Any developments on who did it? And any explanation? Mind you, I still think if ADT is to gain any credibility you need to put your pasoti past behind you. Or at least have a separate section devoted to it..... |

Mind you, I still think if ADT is to gain any credibility you need to put your pasoti past behind you. Or at least have a separate section devoted to it..... I think we have to remember that this is just an internet messageboard and we dont hang people. Not even Exeter fans. I know the name of the mod involved and I won't be publishing it. It is between him and Coxy, and it is a Pasoti issue. I think you are a bit off the mark with your credibility comment. Look at what the posters on here have been saying for years about Argyle, Stapes, the Trust etc etc. We may moan a lot but we get hell of a lot right. Anyway Funny Man, welcome to ATD, we have high expectations of you |

But the thing is, it's not about credibility, it's just about opinion and the freedom to voice it. I don't think any of us have ambition to further things or to nurse egos, it's just a bunch of Argyle fans having a natter if you like and anyone is free to change or add a topic. Neither is it about growth, we're not here to provide an alternative to pasoti or the trust or anything else, despite our Trust friends constant comments about the membership of the site and an obsession with the numbers. ADT remains with no bannings, no altered post and very few moved post. ATD remains with a totally free agenda where fans are encouraged to use other sites, as many of us do, and there's no stigma attached if you do. ATD remains with an agenda of nil snobbery, no one is painted as a "lesser fan" just because he doesn't have a season ticket or only attends once ever ten years. Superfans don't exist on here. ATD is open for all, you don't need to be a mate to feel a part of the setup. At the end of the day the simple fact is, join if you want and don't join if you don't want. Edit to add...Naps issuing threats again? |

Am I getting warm ? I'd say you're just coming to the boil, yeah. FFS I am anagram thick. This will be tormenting me all day now. However, picked this up on the farm the other day. 'droylag's' comment below was totally ignored by those at whom it was aimed/addressed. Now there's a surprise. IMO it encapsulates the problem Pasoti has and why so many have fallen foul of the arrogant but often misguided thought controllers. From droylag..................................... Ian, I'm a trust member and agree with the broad sweep of what it is trying to accomplish. However, I'm uneasy with a couple of issues, mainly the closeness of the Trust to our potential owner and some of the statements it has made regarding Ridsdale while at the club. I feel these are legitimate concerns but dare not question them on this forum as the likelihood is that I will be chastised by members of the contigency plan for merely airing my views. I support the tireless work that has been put in by Chris Webb, yourself and any others involved but I don't think you do the Trust any favours with the defensive attitude that is taken any time somebody questions something that has been done. On top of this, you know that you can count on the support of the same selection of posters who will then chime in and criticise the original poster for daring to swim against the tide slightly. The "I know something you don't know" tone that is sometimes taken probably doesn't help matters much either but I'm aware certain confidences have to be maintained. I'm fully expecting that to happen after I've made this post but I hope some people can see what I'm trying to say and I hope you don't take this as a criticism of what you and the Trust are trying to achieve. I agree what you are trying to accomplish, I just sometimes don't agree with the road you are taking to get there. It's ok to disagree on things like that from time to time isn't it? Chris ...................................................... No answer, came the stern reply. |

| A good spot Tring. Basically droly is saying that he expects to be bullied for raising concerns about how Chris conducts himself on the internet.

| That website was getting worse and worse for a long time. And this administration process has been grabbed by the likes of IJN to try and exercise the authority he has always wished for himself, and how he believes the world should be. The website is now Baggo' 2, in fact probably Baggo' 1 "we must all keep on song" and "careless talk cost lives" .... do me a favour. And I suspect when the sale is completed, whenever that might be, the reason for the thought control will turn to avoiding relegation .... and on ... and on. Remind me again how long it took the 'Authorities' to revoke the stringent licensing laws that were introduced in this country during WW1. These types can never get enough control. Those who meekly accept the dictats of the Thought Police are barking.

| Droylag is, as we all know, quite right to be concerned. However, now that Tring has raised it on here Droylag has unwittingly taken out an insurance policy and should be ok. ATD, policing Pasoti for the fans! |

I think we need a uniform. I'll pop into Goulds later and see what offers they've got on. |

| A reminder to those of us that use other sites to delete pm's after reading them or you risk them being read by others. In other words, if one day you cannot log into the site you are using and you require the help of a Moderator because your password doesn't seem to work, there's a chance your pm's are being read! PC GOB, here to help! |

PC GOB, here to help! Are you being serious? It's something I often thought but decided (a) I was being paranoid & (b) I didn't care. Are you being serious? |
