Don't know if this is a wind up or not but it's a very sad fact of life that some people really do find themselves in this position, it saddens me and should just not happen in this day and age or in this country where the rich just get richer.

exactly and sadly its going to get worse as cuts get made, jobs are lost and prices go up. Not just for people like Barry but we all will feel the pinch and harder

Why would anyone think it's a wind-up? There are stories and posts on his timeline from ages ago.

Having had a quick look I would say that he's skint and not happy about it so he's telling everyone via Facebook. It's a bit strange but then so are a lot of people.

I think it not a wind up as I did have e-mail from him way back and his e-mail has log on to my face book as a friend, I do have messages notifications me of news from ‏ his face book account. This is where this sad new has come from. I also used to see Barry at training and riding his bicycle in Outland RD area but not for some time. I was told he do post on here and the farm under different user names

I have sent E-mail to his E-mail address that I have on him. Hope for an reply.

Hi everyone, I come across this topic and having worked with Barry I think the page on Facebook is him only reason why I think it is him is because I looked it up on good old Facebook and the mutual friends who got on Facebook is my old work mates and his work mates
