| There's not that much wrong with LG TVs. The father-in-law is a bit of an AV snob and he got home one day to find his Missus has bought an LG TV and a matching soundbar/blu-ray player and he was heart broken (you don't need all them wires now she cooed at him in her Northern voice) so it's a bit of an in-joke I have with myself. LG - Life is Good! I remind him. And GOB - add me up on Xbox live - gamertag Hairy Jeesus (two letter "e"s) [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]My Avatar actually does look like me although my trousers aren't quite as funky in real life. As you can see from my recent game history, I have children who like kinect... I don't like it, it wears me out. - mouldyoldgoat wrote:

A 22 inch Panasonic with a big bit on the back! 22 inch TV... I remember being allowed to use the "big" TV with our Spectrum but only on special occasions when sensiblegreeny wasn't watching horse racing. It was awesome - huge and in colour!!! This was probably around 1985 though. Mouldy, get yourself a new TV (not an LG). |

| I've got my mum's old tv to watch dvds. She bought it up the road in Asder.
I don't know how big it is but size isn't everything - except to the insecure. |

| There's been a spate of break ins down where I hang out in South Africa. Flat sreen tellys are the object of desire.
My mates gaff, a lush big house right on the beach, was targeted but when they discovered he had a monster old CRT TV they had to revise their target, so instead they nicked...
three pairs of underpants. |

This was probably around 1985 though. Mouldy, get yourself a new TV (not an LG). I bought it in 2004 from work. My daughter was watching our 'old' tv as I was leaving to go to work when it burst into flames in front of her. I pulled the plug out, picked up the tv and threw it out the front door. I got burnt on my hands and chest doing the hero thing. My daughter being nearly two did her nut because I had taken the tv away while see was watching it and I left the wife and Father in Law to sort her out. Went to work bought it and brought it home that night. Looking at getting a new tv for Christmas. Not sure about LED or LCD though! Work gets more LG tv returns, I'm told, than any other make. _______________________________________ I'm one of the common people so says the wife! I reckon that makes me posh - and the housemaid agrees with me. |

| We went Toshiba a coupla years ago.
I think we only did it cos it was the cheapest deal we could find for an HD TV that size.
It serves the purpose. |
