| Without having to trawl through page after page of crap over on Pasoti, can anyone enlighten me as to who this character is and why he/she is getting all the hero worship from the usual suspects and the tent dwelling fan fest nerds on greens on screen. http://www.greensonscreen.co.uk/randomdisplays/nikkksnight/1/index.asp

| Commonly believed to be Nik Barron erstwhile owner of First European Securities sponsor of the Devonport End, Forza Verde stickers, Argyle Youth team and IjNs seat in the directors box. He has given over £250,000 to the staff fund via Pasoti auctions. In addition he's given the Kilimjaro 5 over £20 grand in sponsorship. Altruistic doesn't quite cover it.
Of course up to now it's all been a big secret. But this weekend has been a grand coming out with his Nikkkkkkkk November Night and appearance to the lauding, applauding and stand up if you love Barron masses at the FanFest. Where he watched the subsequent game from is anyone's guess. |

| He buys all the shirts in nools auctions for thousands of pounds without wanting them. He usually donates them to a good cause after. He sort of sponsors forza Verde, pays for their flags etc. His company, first European securities, has also just sponsored the Devonport end, it's now called the FES Devonport End. When Brent first took over he made noises about investing in the club, possibly a place on the board? But not sure if Brent turned it down or it was never fully discussed. Nool adores him like he's the second coming, and it has to be said he has invested an awful lot of money, most of it speeding up Brents historic staff wages, and creamed himself when nikkk hired a plane to fly over Sid James park with a banner saying "we'll meet again". His company do mortgages and secured loans to people with a poor credit history, sometimes referred to as loan sharks preying on the poor, with interest rates of over 20%. With the redundancies not yet being confirmed by the club, and having just signed a huge sponsorship deal with FES, plus the money from the tv game , it makes you wonder if Brent will now be accepting his offer of investment, which would lead to the redundancies bring called off and Pasoti exploding over their laptop screens in unison, in one big gooey nikkk orgasm. Oh how nool would name drop then and talk about nikkks red wine drinking or his Japanese garden features. Cant knock him for the money he's invested and raised, although the auctions are a farce where the figure nikkk is going to hand over is known beforehand and anyone else bidding is just trying to appear generous, as they know nikkk will outbid them. I'd like to see one of them bid £500 for a lump of home park turf that has been stuck in a frame, and nikkk be on holiday and not outbid it. There you go matey, that'll be £500 please. Do you want to collect your mudball at next weeks fanfest |

It makes you wonder why he hasn't been offered the 20% at 400k deal that the Trust has been offered, if he can afford to give away 300k, a 400k investment wouldn't seem too much of a stretch. In fact if these numbers are true it makes you wonder why he, or his company didn't buy the club instead of Brent. |

| Cheers for the Info....sounds like he has some wedge to chuck around, and the cliquey masses in the GT/Fanfests love a bit of bum-licking nonsense at irregular intervals. Subject aside the faces that appear in that Greens on Screen are the same ones nearly every week....talk about self publicity!!! Apart from the obvious ones like Nool and Ghoul, you have that fatty whose neck is larger then his head,Sue the one who won the fan of the year thingy...her goggle eyed mate, and that irritating Zee Zan A Freakshow if ever there was one!!! |

I find this strange too. If Nikkk is a member of The Trust then why didn't he just offer the money to them as a gift and then there wouldn't be that much left to raise, and perhaps The Trust could start negotiating about the place on the board? Mind you if he's that friendly with Newell and Webb he probably isn't a Trust supporter. Again this makes you wonder why he wasn't approached about buying the club in the first place, or as I've thought all along the full story of how little it would cost to acquire the club was never widely advertised, to deter any rivals to the Ridsdale/Heaney bid. Whether he's in the right business to take advantage of the development wouldn't have mattered as he could have sold the land to someone who would develop it, or move his headquarters to new offices or whatever. Without knowing the true facts about what Ridsdale and Guilfoyle were playing at back then, it's all just speculation, but I still don't believe all this TINA crap. Brent got the Windsor Boy/Deepthroat gang onside at an early stage and that meant the fanbase was fed the line that suited James Brent, and these people have been rewarded for their efforts. |

| Looking at the GOS photos it's the same self promoting fools each week. How many deepthroater's can you get in one set of photos then, so far we've had Newell, Webb and Jameson. Oh and Jock, Mike Newell is there too mate. Looks like he should be on the football factory, or in the dole queue. I'd watch it he looks a scary thing Nool has no fashion sense does he? Wonder if Webby told everyone why he was banned from ATD during his speech #sellout. Newell is giving a running commentary on the picures, feck off. Milbridge Mike on Pasoti is Newell too, you, can, tell, with, the oversue, of, commas.

| So the GT/fansfests are "cliquey"? I'm sure they would let anyone in. You don't want to go? Oh.
The same faces in GoS every week. If someone else were to go then they have a reasonable chance of having their picture taken. (Even I was in one once.) You don't want to? Oh.
Then there's "that fatty whose neck is larger then his head,Sue the one who won the fan of the year thingy...her goggle eyed mate, and that irritating Zee Zan A Freakshow if ever there was one!!!" Please supply a picture of your undoubted good looks so the rest of the world can drool over it. You're not a picture of manhood? Oh.
"Mrs Purse needs to lay off the make up a little bit too" - ATD is now to have an advice column on females grooming and make-up tips? It's not? Oh.
What a sordid excuse for a thread this is.

SFD - Have you visited the FES web site? If you haven't then ignore the rest of this. If so, its possible that you've got a cookie that's triggered by the ads engine used on Pasoti. Just saying like, I had a mate of mine that was astounded at how our marketing team were spending all this money on internet campaigns until he had this explained to him. Honest, it was a colleague |

| I don't think FES have got a website. I certainly haven't been on it and I also get the FES banner when I look at pasoti. |

| Some of the banners on pasoti are paid for adverts (Underwood Communications is one, if I've got the name right), and others are google stuff that links to your search history. Hairy found out the latter when he got the 'local slags' stuff or whatever it was. |

They don't need one. All of their prospective clients don't have access to the internet any more, 'cos they're flat broke and have had to trade their pc's in at Cash Converters... |

| In the past he had requested anonymity which ATD respected but, as you say, his identity is now well-known. |
