| It must be getting to the stage now where it's completely untenable. |

| As a player he was just what was needed on the pitch, but as a manager in the circumstances he's got here he just isn't up to it.
We need a Luggy type right now.
Steve Cotterill. |

| 4 defeats in a row now, how many was it before Reid got the boot?
Bobby Williamson got it after 5 on the bounce. |

| Yep,he has got to go now.
A shit-scrappy first half [uninspiring],then a second half of two teams.
Argyle for the first 15 minutes of the second half rattled Burton, scored and all looked well. Then Burton slowly got back in to it and grabbed their first and then piled on the pressure until they got their second. By which time Argyle had seemed to fold like a bad hand at poker.
I left with 6 minutes to go,could not stomach anymore of it.
Fletcher,do us all a favour and resign in the morning.
PS. The Referee had a good game, not surprising with some of those Burton tackles.....

| Errington has tweeted that CF has said "we controlled the game but still ended up losing". CF has said this several times now and his book of limited excuses is on a parr with sturrock's (second spell).
What Fletcher fails to mention is the opposition changes tactics and he is unable to react other than bringing on like for like players. |

What Fletcher fails to mention is the opposition changes tactics and he is unable to react other than bringing on like for like players. This is the decisive thing for me about Fletcher, he is tactically inept, or at least he doesn't react quickly enough when the opposition manager changes the slightest thing. We keep having these 15-20 minute spells where we look good, control the game even, and the opposition manager is always able to see what is going on and changes their system. Fletcher then can't see what is happening quickly enough. Please, please, please Carl Fletcher, just do the honourable thing, and unfortunately Romain too. Sentiment has to go out of the window before we go out of the Football League. |

79% want Fletcher gone if we lose on Saturday, which is highly likely. I wonder if all the players and Mr Brent, who have accounts and post sometimes, have voted? |

How so funny that would be if it were true..... What more evidence does James Brent and his goons need in order to either demote or sack Fletcher. Boos last Sunday, boos last night and boos no doubt on Saturday if Argyle lose to Gillingham (which will probably be the case). But of course James Brent thinks Fletcher is a wonderful chap and time is needed for him to get a winning/promotion side together. If that is the bloody case,at this rate it will be promotion from the BSP in a year or three ?. And this person from PASOTI STASI for the time being too :- ''there are only 92 league clubs- most of them have managers ! There are lots of people who want to be football managers out there, so Argyle would represent a rare opportunity.
Plymouth are a big club for this league, so promotion is realistic which would look good on a manager's CV regardless of who you are. Even an experienced man. It's a great time to manage us- managing Argyle in the Championship is much more of a thankless task as it's more likely to be a relegation dogfight !
But until Fletcher gets the boot, I'm sticking by him. It's not all his fault- it's also about his backing''.It astounds me that Argyle had the game for the taking in the 15 minute spell, then fall apart willy-nilly. I expect Burton Albion came for a draw, but ended up with an ever so easy victory. I shall not attend on Saturday, partly because i can't afford it and partly because of the direness which is now evident within the team. My next two games will be Chesterfield at home in League Two and Oxford United at home in the JPT. By them we could be in the bottom two yet again, and that would be depressing. |

Not sure that can happen, you are effectively five points clear of the drop zone with your goal difference and the chances of a couple or three of the contenders going on a winning spree is pretty remote. A very disappointing evening yesterday with Chelsea, Man Utd and Celtic all winning, fortunately I always knew I could rely on you boys. Happy days. |

“Good old Argyle, lose yet again! How many games is it now since they scored a goal? I lose count.
As for the mighty Red Devils (Man Utd), yet another 3 points last night and one more step towards lifting yet another Premier League trophy.
I often get stick for changing teams from Argyle to Man Utd, however it seems no one can argue with this - who has the most trophies in their trophy cabinet? Point made!
Roll on Gillingham. I predict Argyle will lose yet again 10-nil!!” |
