Anyone here using........

Windows 8 yet? and if so what do you think of it?

I am going to need a new laptop soon and I am tempted to stick to windows 7, since windows 95 the operating system has looked basically the same but as far as I understand you cant revert to the standard style desktop.

I have a few friends who are using it already. According to them, if it's used on a touch-screen device it's pretty good, fresh, intuitive and fast with lots of unique features. If used with a non touch-screen, i.e a mouse or track-pad, it's shite, Apparently.

You-Tube is a good place to see W8 in action if you want to make a decision whether to get it or not.

Personly I use W7 that dual-boots with Ubuntu. I get everything I need done using these two OS's.

My boy installed w8 on his laptop, it has now crashed.

window is shite, all of their op's have been. un reliable, prone to crashes, prone to abuse, prone to hang, oh and bg's a cnut!

i only use it for getting on here, for some reason chrome or ff dont like this site.
