On the face of it he seems about as philanthropic as Steptoe.
All his money & he hasn't even got the common decency to settle the staff debt without dragging it out over years & instead relying on charity.

Harry Potter tolerates the Football Club as part of his grand money making scheme. Whether the Club succeeds in the long run don't come into it.
