The PFT have been announced as the preferred bidders to buy the club following concerns that their main opposition wasn't 'fit & proper'.

Interesting.

They are going to be deducted ten points at the end of the season even if they come out of administration. I don't know why the rules were changed for them.

To think, for the amount Brent paid, our Trust could have bought Argyle too.

£1.6m from the council...owed wages deferred for 5 years...free development land in a prime city site.

Euff.

Good luck Pompey. I'll stick a tenner in the bucket next time I'm down the pub.

But we have a much better deal, we have an owner who is going to WELCOME FAN INVOLVEMENT, not the trust obviously as these sort of organisations attract the wrong sort of fan, he wants the sort of quango type of trust full from top to bottom with arse lickers the right kind of people.
It does make you sick that we were fed all this shite about how close we were to going out of business when Ridsdale could have bought the club for a pound, we could have bought the club for feck all with the help from the council, the trouble is, do we move in the right circles, speak the right language or wear the correct school tie?
I feel that we have been mugged, and before anybody reminds me we are lucky to have a club to support, don't bother, I've heard it all before.

As I said at the time. But the Trust was determined to scupper all bids bar Brent's from the outset. I wonder why?

Surely not just for a silly title and a seat in the Directors box?

Anywhere else and the citizens would be screaming "Corruption" I'm so glad we leave in a Country where this can't possibly be the case and people in any form of elected office (like, for instance, a trade union), are scrupulously free from the taint of corruption and accusations of being "bought"

Sadly, if they're not corrupt, the only explanation must be sheer bloody incompetance
