| I realise that it is far too early to say but PCH seems to have the knack of scoring goals. Only 3 so far admittedly but he hasn't played that often so 3 is pretty good. In fact the same applies to Griffiths who also has 3 goals despite having hardly played. If we can get them fit and keep them fit we might have the beginnings of a team that we can be proud of once again. |

| i cant see it myself. I can see him scoring more than 10 this season but he wont be as gifted up front as BWP was for us. |

| BWP had a much worse start and then spent 12 months injured. So far PCH is ahead on points even if you take the lower level into account. PCHs career is on the up too. BWP was on the down when he joined us. The best of PCH won't be seen for a year or two yet. |

He is more of a winger than a striker and will be used as much. Besides if he does live up to your estimation the club will flog him as quick as you can say how much do you want for him! |

| Keep your feet on the floor and stop letting your heart rule your head......we are still near the bottom of league 2, and one win against Barnet does not fill me full of confidence. Its an absolute joke that we are playing the likes of Barnet, Wimbledon, and Morecambe..those who get exited about that need to have a word with themselves. Awaydays at these places are dogshit...we need to be playing inside Championship sized grounds weekly ...at the very least. Acceptance of mediocrity............................. |

| Playing Barnet might be crap but at least we beat them and that's all we can do right now. What's wrong with taking positives from it? |

| im not saying PCH wont be on a par with BWp but if i had to choose between the two i would choose BWP as i think he is more prolific up front. |

| So would I but if you can't be with the one you love then just love the one you are with as the man once said. PCH reminds me of BWP in terms of stature and approach as much as anything. Neither will ever be much good defensively. In fact they are so poor at that that they may as well not try. They both seem to score goals at quite a rate. PCH is still very raw. Maybe it won't last but it is possiblethat, and not before time, we may have found a wee nugget. |

| Why exactly is it a joke that we are playing these teams? We are in league 2 and the way we got here wasn't that funny. We collapsed as a club and are lucky to be in the football league and existance. I'll happily take playing these sides compared to the alternative. It isn't an acceptance of anything regarding mediocrity or anything else it is a fact of where we are or ended up after the debacle that was Argyle.
On topic which is Cowan-Hall. No I don't think he is anywhere near Wright-Phillips right now. He is young and there is room for him to develope so who is to say whether he will go on to show the improvement it would take. He has potential that's for sure and wasn't the most stupid purchase the club has made. If he improves and we don't get promoted then he will leave so we may not see the best of him anyway. |

| Different style of player for me. I think BWP has a much better feel for the game around him and is a lot more composed, leading him to make short passes to keep possession and then fantastic off the ball runs and poachers finishes. Paris prefers to run with it a bit more, go for a cross and for all his potential at times has something of the headless chicken about him. Still a bit of a rough diamond but was excellent today and his end product was imo, better than usual.
Also lets not forget that this was his first League 2 goal today, the other two were in our two cup progressions. Griffiths and Feeney have more goals to show for their minutes, but admittedly are not directly comparable to Paris in goalscoring terms as those two have 2 goals each by virtue of being able to take a good penalty. |

| Paris still has time to develop and improve, this is his first season as a full time professional. |

We're six points off the bottom two but five points off the play-off places. We're eleven points from the bottom and the only team with eleven more points than us are Gillingham. Don't let those facts get in the way of yet another outraged from Tunbridge Wells style post though Punchdrunk. We played Barnet yesterday and won by three clear goals - that's the facts. |

Another fact though is that the vast majority of games so far have been against teams who are not exactly setting the world on fire at the moment,Port Vale being the exception.Rochdale are currently 6th-if Argyle can turn them over next week, then maybe some belief that better things are on the way will be justified.Until then...... |

| I wasnt assessing the relative merits of the whole team in comparison to the rest of the league, offering a critique of how and why the club ended up where it is or suggesting that all or even most in the garden was rosy just that I have a feeling that given time PCH could turn out to be a talismanic goalscorer for us. Is that so wrong? Is it really necessary to grind every tiny flash of optimism into a bitter cynical dust? |

| The simple fact is as soon as we meet a team who are not fellow bottom feeders we pile in....Rochdale next Saturday will be a test to say the least. Cant believe im saying this...it is an absolute disgrace that we are even on the park with the likes of Rochdale. |

| If he does turn out to be the new BWP he'll be sold very cheaply at the earliest possible opportunity. If he turns out to be a nothing special lower L2 player he'll stay. |

Agree. I thought PCH was looking a useless addition the the team, especially moving up to a higher league. However, last Tuesday night he seemed to click into action all of a sudden. Better expeirence may have seen him score a third before Andres did Vs Aldershot Town. He can only get better, but then again he may not ?. |

Thats the nature of the game. Agree. Don't think I've ever seen a game where the opposition has had NOTHING. They had to my memory, one shot straight at Cole, one shot over the bar, one poor miss that they ought to have done better with when Berry lost his man and their goal. So two decent opportunities and two very soft half chances. You'd be hard pushed to find less than that in many games. |
