The small people were very impressed that it was trying to snow first thing.

I wasn't.

Static on the bloody train (again) which is ridiculously busy on account of it not having enough carriages. I'm guessing at 300 people stood up.

Anyway, static on the outskirts of Reading & can see a 'Home Sense' shop which reminds me of 'Home Bargains' (see above) which reminds me of cider.

FGW are selling Strongbow at £2.75 per can (440ml not 500ml). I have £6 on me but would be furious with myself for being ripped off. But am very thirsty.

Pop quiz, hot shot.

'A decent flagon of scrumpy'? In my day, scrumpy came in old lemonade bottles, or - for those expecting guests - a hastily rinsed out five litre plastic thing that probably once held windscreen wash.

Anyway. To the important question of the day. Is this new soft play place suitably bouncy and adequately supplied with mirrors?

No mirrors but very bouncy! He's now obsessed with singing "Wondrickle, Wondrickle, Copenhagen" from Hans Christian Anderson with Danny Kaye at the top of his voice with one finger stuck up his nose lol! So I didn't take any photos today.

He sways from side to side while he sings too. Might enter him for Britain's got talent and teach him to say piers morgan is a fucktard.

Tonight will see a return of two old friends; Messrs Henry Weston & Scrumpy J.

All washed down with a portion of Fish & Chips from Bovey Fish Bar (refer to page one of this thread for previous).

In London's Westfield shopping mall, there's a food place called 'Chips & Fish'. Funky or what?

Started a quick DIY job in the garden today, then found lots of buried asbestos.

Quite a disappointing day all in all.

How dare the newbie insinuate I would construe Jon's post as him whacking one off in his garden, I know he pays someone to do it for him.

Meanwhile it's my stepson Jack's birthday so I'm doing what all good stepfathers should do, getting stoned, drinking Henry Westons, leaving it all up to his mummy and eating arctic roll.

I bought a viennetta as well, bit of a blast from the past.

Yesterday morning's walk produced willow tits, grey wagtails and heard rather than seen nuthatch (I think).

But today on the viaduct - the peregrine is there again. Oh happy day!
