| Just a few hours before it starts. I predict a 15 - 13 win for Europe. |

| I've gone BIG on the USA. But will do a number of smaller bets to try and even that up if we look like we are up for a putting competition. No rough favours the Yanks...
Will have to steer clear of this thread - I can't watch in real time, too much gumph - always watch about 1-2 hrs behind time and fast forward the adverts! |

I've recorded the whole of todays play, edited out all the shit and foreplay, but left in all the action. It cut the 12 hours programme to 4 hours Then I thought I would leave in all the bits with Kirsty Gallagher and Diane Dougherty so that I could pause and rewind at leisure |

| Sad to say I'm working but with 5live on. Wasn't John Inverdale born in Plymouth. Is he another "famous" Plymothian who doesn't support Argyle. Anyway to I've gone decent stakes for me on a USA victory - no rough, better putters and at home. I've also gone for Tiger Woods to be the top US scorer at 5/1. Take out his early years performance and his record is good. To keep an interest for the afternoon I'm on: Dufner/Johnson McIlroy/McDowell Donald Garcia Stricker/Woods If my usual betting standards are in everyone should now lay all of the above |

| Breaking even as we speak.
On Woods and Stricker to beat Westwood. Woods can't play that badly twice and Westwood's putting is awful
The 2 NI "M's" to beat Mickelson and Bradley - If I had 10k they would get that at Evs
Yanks to beat Lawrie and Hanson
Yanks to beat Rose/Kaymer. |

| Tiger Woods couldn't hit my mums fat ass all day then goes and gets a hole in one! You couldn't make it up. Well you could because I just did |

| I quickly read your post GJ and the words "Tiger Woods" "Mum's Ass" and "Hole in One" sprang out at me. I almost coughed up my Merlot and had to scroll up to check what you'd written |

If my usual betting standards are in everyone should now lay all of the above Hope you didn't go too big on Woods and those afternoon matches Nick!! As it stands after day one, 2/5 for a USA win even looks half decent value to pile more on. Colsearts aside (10 under yesterday!) the yanks were different class. There's almost no penalty at all for missing fairways. It's almost an admission from Davis Love that his players can't hit straight. Europe need to match the US format of 8 automatic places and four picks in two years at Gleneagles. Kaymer's a passenger and shouldn't be there. Westwood and McDowell are also out of form. I'm also pretty shocked Ollie rested Poulter yesterday afternoon. Gonna take something a bit special to keep the trophy. |

| A lot more impressive than Nikk's plane over Sid James Park, even if it might not be strictly true. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

| Starting to look extremely grim for Europe, but the Ryder Cup does funny things to players. Tiger Woods is having another stinker and is there for the taking tonight and in the singles. He won't be having his name written in the sky. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

| Just done it again. He's carried Rory all night.
If Woods and Stricker get a half point that's one hell of a comeback. He couldn't hit a cows ass with a banjo earlier. |

| Incredible! The pressure must be unbearable.
Westwood was shaking like a leaf. Kaymer and Molinari who would've believed it would come down to them? |
