The title says it all! Given some of our opponents in the next half dozen or so games, we will know. I think we will be in deep shit!

Well we've had quite an easy start and struggled so it could be a bloodbath against the better sides.

Six more games with Fletcher in charge will be six games too many.

The up of all this is.....if my local team get promoted this year they could well be playing Argyle next season.

I never thought that I would only have to travel 3 miles to watch Argyle.

Bromley v Plymouth.... how times are a changing... how much worse can it get.

No other club would put up with this clueless idiot. He have been sacked ages ago. He's not a manager and never will be. The bloke is completely in the wrong job. But brent is not interested in the playing side. If action is ever taken by the specky banker it will be far too late and as others have said it will only be replacing clueless with Purse ot wotton. Basically we're f****d!

Please save all the "only 9 games in the season" rubbish, Fletch has been here for a year now, this is his team, bought with one of the "most competitive budgets in this league", sure that doesn't guarantee us promotion, but it should offer us improvement on last year. The fact that we have been thumped by 'Vale at home and now scraped a draw at home to 'Rover's suggests to me that our home form is going to be lose to the top half teams and draw to the lower half teams, AT HOME! When we are away, I dread to think what will happen.
We took a gamble (cheap option IMO) signing Fletcher, when is Brent going to admit he was wrong? If Fletch goes and Wotton or Purse takes over I will go feckin mental, we need a proper, proven, experienced manager, they have even woken up on the farm.

The scary thing is last night's team was almost the same as the side that drew 1-1 with Rovers back in March, and back in March everyone was hoping for survival before a clear-out of all the dross and a new side being assembled that would be a vast improvement and challenging for promotion!

Other than Walton being shipped out and Madjo as the loanee striker instead of Tsoumou, the team was exactly the same. A team that escaped relegation by the skin of it's teeth, in admittedly difficult circumstances, but never the less, a poor team that would be stripped at the end of the season and replaced with some decent players surely?

Not at all. Cole, Berry, Purse, Blanchard, Williams, Bhasera, Hourihane, Macdonald, Lennox and Young all played in the game against Rovers in March.

How can this be? Everyone knew last seasons squad was assembled in administration and was full of everybody else's cast-offs and were just a stop gap side waiting for a new owner to invest and start paying their wages, before starting afresh for the new season.

Sorry Fletcher, either the players you have chosen are not up to it or the players have the ability and it is your management that is at fault. Either way it's not good enough.

The trouble is Fletcher has burned his bridges. He would not be able to get himself match fit again to continue playing elsewhere if he gets fired, and his management CV wouldn't look very impressive for any other potential management positions if he gets sacked.

Either get in some help with Fletcher dropping to assistant manager, or give him an ultimatum with a fixed number of games to show improvement.

The alarm bells started ringing six years ago and they have been ignored since the day they started because the people in charge were more concerned about making themselves a few bob.

Now the alarm bells are ringing loud and clear and everyone can hear them except the same idiots that insist we are improving under Fletcher so they can appear ever so "Superfan...ish" and, James Brent who it seems like the Stapleton's and Todd's, has his eye on profit making development rather than PAFC.

Your next 6 games are like your start to the season, Quite easy on paper, you could possibly pick up 12 points from those games, with wins v Wimbledon, Wycombe, Barnet & Morecambe, 3 of those are currently below you in the pecking order! If you only manage 7 points or less you need to start worrying IMO, as it's the next 6 games after these, that will define your season IMO. Rochdale, Cheltenham, Rotherham, Burton, Gillingham & Fleetwood on their day & with the strikers they have at their disposal, could potentially all tear you a new one Wink

It's all like groundhog day though isn't it? Last year we got in the shit because we played teams that were around the same place in the table as us and either drew or lost those games (was is Morecombe or Northampton who had lost about 10 games and then beat us at home?) This season is going to be no better, wake up Brent, wake up Jones and sort it out.

This could save Fletcher for the time being. The next few games are not that daunting and we should pick up some good points. If we don't he's gone anyway, but if we do pick up around 10 points he should be safe for a while.

Then the harder games come thick and fast and if we're on around 16 points from 13 games going into the Rochdale game, we would probably only be on around 20 points from the first 19 games and firmly in another relegation battle.

Fine in theory, but we've just thrown away a lead and a home win against a very, very poor Bristol Rovers side. If we can't beat them at home, I can't see too much to get optimistic about against the four teams highlighted above.
