Argyle seems to have benefit from UEFA EURO 2012 to the tune €29,350 (page2) any ideas why?

I doubt that'll come under unbudgeted income, I'd guess the club will be aware of the rules and will have budgeted for it to come.

How can you 'budget' for a player to be picked to play for his country - if this is indeed what the compensation is for?

I'd guess it'd be during the qualifiers, maybe FeenO or even Jonah? Arnesen?

Or did we have someone away during the actual tournament?

Because it was on last season's apperances (ie, the qualifyers for Euro 2012).

I'm guessing they knew the player had played, knew the money was coming and thus budgeted.

Knowing Argyle they would not have known until it was in their bank account

I can't imagine for one moment that this bonus money could be budgeted for.

The same must surely apply when Bhasera is away in the African cup of nations, and Zimbabwe are on the verge of making the finals so if selected, that should be a decent amount too.
