| [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]So now we know how its done - don't bombard the players with information and don't train rest instead. I could understand that if we had 2 or 3 games to go but after 1 game of the season when we have only scored in 1 game out of 5, and conceeded 13? Surely, it should be all information for the players and all practice to sort it out. How do the youngsters learn if they don't get told? I remember reading a quote from Paul Sturrock first time round when he roughly said the difference between working between Premier League players and Div 2 players is that you only have to tell them once in the PL. In Div 2 you have to keep on reminding them day after day what they need to be doing. |

| Fair enough, they have to be given time to catch up on all that tweeting.
I do wonder about about the lack of structure, both in the management, and the team itself. Thre's absolutely no sign of it being a cohesive unit, difficult to break down, attack as one, defend as one.
It just seems to be , 'do whatever you fancy lads'. Looks a bit unprofessional really. |

| He also says the ref cost us the game on Saturday now!
For us to be clinging on for a point again after doing it for whole of last season is now getting so demoralising and embarrassing.
To tell you the truth now if someone guaranteed me Fletcher would quit if we got hammered on Saturday, I'd take a 5-0 beating now while there's still time this season. |

| Imagine your boss saying you can either remove a dead pigeon from the guttering or you can sit in the van with a copy of the sun battering one out over Kim kardashian.

| We are already 5 points worse off than last season (as we won both of these fixtures) which would have relegated us last season. Competitive budget my ass! |

We drew away to Shrewsbury 1-1 and lost the following game 1-4 at home to Rotherham. We then went on to lose the next 8 games. Our first win was against Macclesfield at home where we won 2-0. After that we went on another spell of 8 games where we picked up just 4 points. In the first 20 games, we accumulated just 13 points and as we reached the half way point of the season, we had just 18 points. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]We can't possibly have a season like that again surely. |

| With a tongue tied manager in denial, oh yes we can. Sky stats reckoned Aldershot had 70% possession. He thought their performance on Saturday had been better than when they beat the same opposition 1-0 at Home Park on Easter Monday. That was the last time the Pilgrims picked up all three points from a league game. Fletcher said: "The interesting thing on Saturday was that, performance-wise, we were a lot better than when we beat them at the end of last season. "Sometimes in football you don't always get the result which matches the performance. "We kept the ball, created chances and pretty much had full control of the game, but it just wasn't to be." I think the report forgot several eerrrrrrrrrrrrrms, y'knows and yeah yeahs

| Tradegy is nothing will be done to remove this buffoon, at least not until it's far too late. And then, as others have said, he'll only be replaced by another un-tried and cheap option from within the club. There is no hope as long as brent is owner. |

Jon L.......who the hell can tell them at Home Park...there ain't anyone with football management experience of managing anything above Div 4 rejects. Even so there are lots of poorer teams in this league than Argyle....BUT THEY GET BY BECAUSE THEY'RE MANAGEMENT IS UP TO THE TASK OF TEACHING THEM. |

| Two games and we have 29% possession in one and 30% in the other- this gives a clear indication of why we are shit.
Brent promoted the West Ham style football and even said that "The board asked Carl to survive relegation by any means" taking the blame for our hoof style. There is absolutely no change in our style, yet Brent said that CF does not want to play this way?
A lot of fans who went to the 2 games have said there's only one tactic, no plan B, worst Argyle team ever etc.
We've lost Todd, Gardner, Stapleton, Kagami, Campbell from the board, but their ethos still seems to be the way forward.

It's a lot worse than that. The fat controller and his goons are advising Brent. The club is an absolute shambles of epic proportions and a complete laughing stock. We have a ponderously inarticulate manager, a bloated squad of has beens, amateurs and injury prone space wasters. How can anyone believe we're in for anything other than a desperate relegation battle ? We only got 46 points last year with a better squad for the second half of the season. We only survived because two other clubs went into freefall. I can't see any way out of this mess as Brent seems unwilling to spend any money on acquiring a decent manager and granting him adequate funding. |

| "Sometimes in football you don't always get the result which matches the performance." Says Fletch.
All the matches I watched last season provided just that-shocking performances with matching results. There is only one thing that matters in football and that's scoring more goals than the opposition, and, in order to achieve this I respectfully suggest that we buy a moderately talented striker who can score more than 10 goals a season and doesn't wander about just trying to look the part.
This is a personal opinion and does not neceassarily reflect the view of the Plymouth Argyle management, board or less astute supporters. |
