It's becoming obvious that Brent and his jamboys are having an 'Emperor's new clothes' experience. Cut the crap, employ a proper manager with adequate funding to compete at this level and the beer and pasties will taste a lot better. Edit.... maybe not. Cans of tribute at £3....... bargain Do Brent's advisors know as much about beer drinkers as they do about football in general ? |

| But those with a any sniff of influence at Home Park are pulling up the drawbridge on internet forums and withdrawing to the relative safety of twitter where they can surrounded themselves with likeminds and sycophants (and in some cases pour scorn on Pasoti naysayers from afar whilst playing to their audience).
It's a cheap trick.

Don't always agree with everything you say, but spot on this time. |

The club is already dead to me. Apart from a deep rooted belief that it could easily be so much better and now a sense of sadness of what it has become, I feel totally alienated. I don't think we've seen the bottom of the stinking barrel by a long way yet. |

| Beer prices have gone up significantly at HP bars, up to 20% in some instances.£3 for a can seems the going rate. They were charging that last season in the Fan Fests anyway. As you say Tring, nobody would give a brass monkey's if the footy was any good, but it aint so they are. |

| Played golf on Saturday morning and didn't have time to eat,so i tried a pasty at HP.Bleddy awful, can't understand who voted for that semi inedible piece of offal wrapped in alleged pastry.Won't be indulging again, the pasties have been awful since the Lyndhurst was knocked down and took the little kiosk at the top with it. |

Mine's an Ivor but a Ron's is acceptable. I gave the Pilgrim pasty a try on Saturday, it is £2.50, the same price as a giant Ivor, but a third of the size. The Pilgrim pastry was dry and tasteless, veg inside acceptable but where was the meat? I shall be reverting to the Ivor van in future. |

| I can only assume that Pilgrim pasties on sale at HP are different to the ones I have bought from the corner shop nearby. The large steak is only £2.10 & is huge & delicious. Far superior to an inedible Ivor ! I guess its possible that the HP version could be a cheapo one to maximise profits. The poll on the farm showed Pilgrim lagging in 3rd or 4th place I think last time I looked. It couldn't be that the entire poll thing was just another distracting publicity stunt could it ? |

| I think I heard somewhere that the online voting thing was one where you could cast as many as you wanted to. I guess Elsie the pastry crimper was sidelined to the computer for a whole shift. |

| I don't get the angst thing. It's like buying a pastie in a service station from one of those kiosks they have now. If you're a captive audience then it is just something you should NEVER EVER do. Get one on the way it is always much better in value and everything. |

| I always liked you Charlie tho please don't, I do feel I got the better end of the deal Not that I'm bitter or letting it fester or anything... SSG, I'm normally with you on most things, (and I'd vote for you to be a MOD ) but the thing is, we are Devon. Our pasties should be bleddy good, otherwise we'em even more of a joke than we should be. Footie first, but good local real ale and good pasty should be what we're about, not captive, Cry freedom!!!!!!!! |

| I'm not telling you who I voted for......
The pasties are good, well mostly, but there is more choice on the outside than inside. That is crying freedom. |

I don't think we've seen the bottom of the stinking barrel by a long way yet. The Club is dead to you . So why the obsession ?. Walk away from the corpse . Enjoy the sunshine in Cyprus and some of us will try and keep the Club alive and you can come back after the Lazarus moment occurs . Abuse expected . The Club is in the shit fair enough but it will survive . Jesus I wouldn't want to be in the trenches with you . BIG FLAGS ? What colour is your flag ? WHITE ? |

| I thought getting some sort of sexual pleasure from the Argyle corpse is what turned him on. Don't go soft on me now greengenes (so to speak with no double entendre intended). |

Are they crap then? Only ever tried one once at the Duke Of Cornwall in Ivybridge. It was very big, well spiced and extremely tasty. Certainly not crap at all. Pastry was a bit flaky though. I haven't tried one at Argyle yet but the large Ivor I bought from the van by the Brit on Saturday hit the spot. |
