News that the kits will be available to buy next Saturday. Carl likes it too-

ARGYLE fans will not have to wait too much longer to get their hands on the Pilgrims' brand spanking new kits. The Puma home and away shirts will be available to buy at Home Park from this Saturday, August 11.

Staff at the Argyle Superstore are bracing themselves for some brisk trade when they open up their doors at 9am, as the Green Army swoop to get hold of the kit that their on-field heroes will wear for the new campaign.

There is a special bonus for Green+ Members, who receive a free shirt as part of their Membership, and for people who pre-ordered their kit – they can collect their shirt ahead of the Saturday sale date.

Green+ Members can collect their shirt from the Superstore from 9am this Thursday, August 9, while fans that have reserved their shirt in advance can collect from 9am on Friday, August 10.

Both the home and away 2012-13 Puma strips feature a broad band across the chest – white on green for the home strip, and green on yellow from the away version.

The broad horizontal design on the shirts – which also carry the name of sponsors Bond Timber on the front – is repeated, in green, on the side of the white or yellow shorts and across the white or yellow socks.

The home kit, which carries the name of sponsors Specialist Vehicles on the reverse of the shirt, will be worn by the Argyle players for the first time when they line up against Aldershot at Home Park on Saturday, August 18.

The away kit, also sponsored by Pilgrims’ programme publishers OPublishing, will get its initial outing in the npower League 2 clash at Dagenham & Redbridge the following Tuesday, August 21.

Argyle manager Carl Fletcher said: “It looks lovely.

“You want the players to feel special. When they came back for the first day of pre-season, it was nice for them to have it all sorted.

“All the little details make a big impact.

“Yellow away is alright, although a couple of the pastier lads might struggle. At least they’ll be able to see one another.”

The Green Army will also be able to buy the Puma strips on line at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Why are they still using that shite picture? The flash or spotlight has made the yellow kit look gash and darkened the green one.
I can't imagine a better picture would make me want either, but still. Use a better picture and maybe sell a few more kits.

Maybe that photo is making it look better than it actually is!

That could be the best of a bad bunch.

Quite.

If they dressed it up, so to speak, like your avatar, they'd do far better business.
