| Those who went to HP yesterday, have made their views strongly felt on the various sites today re the hapless performance we all endured, anyone that did'nt go can be in no doubt from what they have read, as to how concerning that level of performance is, given the proximity of the new league season. I intend to go to the Preston game, but I am not positive about seeing a better performance - different opposition I know. |

| I am just hoping Fletcher gives them a kick up the ass before the game because apart from Gurrieri, I saw very little effort from any of our players against Birmingham, at least until we introduced Lennox, PCH and Lecointe, which really should make Purse, Wotton and Chadwick hang their heads in definite shame.
I hope we sign a new striker before then, but I doubt it, and unfortunately all I can see is the usual hoofing to Chadwick and Feeney and another big argument when Wotton leaves the field between him and Fletcher.
My prediction is Argyle 0 Preston 3
But even then, the happy clappers will refuse to give in as Chadwick is still god, and at least we have a club.
But as a fan, I got my ticket weeks ago, and for some reason I am excited |

| My thought towards the end of the game was hoping Birmingham scored more to push it up towards 7 or 8-0, so they'd be no doubt at all even in Brent's frugal tightwad banking mind that he needs to spend some money on the team. |

| Shirley it would have to be better. Preston aren't going to be a promotion side in League One, like Yeovil, so it could be a gauge of how far we've come since the Yeovil game.
If we lose heavily again and don't create any chances then all the criticism will be justified in my opinion. If we hold our own and score a couple then it might not all be as catastrophic as it seems right now. |

| In my experience from last season Fletcher comes across as being very arrogant when it comes to listening to others and changing things around.Time after time last season we witnessed nullifying, dour, shit tactics with no end product, drawing and losing games we should have won comfortably when perhaps with more positive tactics we would have had 3 points. I was there yesterday, the alarm bells should be well and truly ringing ..... friendlies or no friendlies, scraping wins against Truro, Tiverton and Weston is one thing....as soon as anyone remotely decent comes up we get our arses handed to us on a plate ie Yeovil, Birmingham. Look at the new signings, Cowan Hall ...out of his depth, Lowry...long term sick note and currently injured,Gilmartin....average at best, the only decent one is Guerri who after yesterday s debacle must be thinking what the hell have i joined here. We have a Chairman who is taking advice from a small time Union boy and his mate while others have their heads in the sand still smashing one out over JB "Saving" the club.
RELEGATED BY MARCH NEXT YEAR. |

| After two very heavy mullerings in both our pre-season matches (tiverton and truro don't count as they're not proper opposition) I see no reason why Preston will not be the same. This 'team' is absolute garbage, easily by far the worst in Argyle's history and probably the worst to ever play in the Football League. |

| Playing matches against non-league opposition neither improves fittness or the teams ability.
Suddenly when you play better teams you find that you havn't moved forward and the seasons start has arrived and your not ready. |

| Seen as I hope to be living in Preston in two years time, I might as well adopt a second team now |
