Yesterday went to Sid James Park (I really did!) out of curiosity to watch F. C. United of Manchester play Exeter Shity. The game itself was a typical friendly finishing 3-1 to Exeter. The Grecians putting out two different teams, the only Exeter player of note was Alan Gow (remember him) looked sharp and sored a neat goal. F.C were poor in the first half but much improved in the second, playng some good attacking stuff.
The main point of this of this post is to say how passionate the fans were (natuarally I was amongst the away fans) a few hundred. They sang brilliant anti Man U/premiership songs for the whole 90 minutes and to a man and woman were totally comitted to supporting "their club" and not selling out to the footballing estalishment.
We really need to get them down here next season for a friendly - they would love to come. All the best F.C you are a breath of fresh air.
