| And it comes to mind that at least one highly qualified person (IMHO) on here declined to stand in part to personal stuff they've had to endure from Argyle personalities. |

| Everyone knows there are a handful of high profile fans associated with the club and without their support candidates won't win.
The argument that online fans only account for a small portion of the eligible voters won't apply, because no-one else gives a shit about the PASB.
Tony Cholwell is now accepted into the fold and will gain a place on the board, despite being named by Newell, so something has caused a change in direction there.
JonB seems like a decent guy with the clubs best interests at heart. As long as his posting on here doesn't put him in the gangs bad books, he should also get in.
I can't remember the names of anyone else running, and as Hairy J has pointed out already, no-one else seems to have shown any kind of manifesto. Probably because no-one cares. |

| Pasoti have given tony cholwell his own thread where people can ask him any questions. I can't see where he requested it but I'm sure postey didn't just do it off his own back. And to be fair he has said he would do another for any other candidates if they ask.
Any questions for tony anyone? Seeing as he's giving this site the swerve now. |

| Tony, nice to see you back sooner than expected...
Admin... Maybe time to give the candidates their own threads on ATD - maybe incorporate the 'PASB' into the AFT section?
With the AFT announcements today, and the start of PASB campaigning, interest and discussion regarding those two organisations should increase.

When I posted my original piece I had only seen the thread dedicated to yourself. I now see that there is one dedicated to Jon B as well, but not the remaining candidates. I'm glad that you are back posting on here and have explained to me by PM the circumstances surrounding your proximity to Newell at the Yeovil match. He definitely made it sound as though you were very close to him on Saturday for quite some time, as he posted that he had to move away from you in the pub to get some peace, or something along those lines. It's good that you can be so forgiving towards Mr Newell, who it seems still maintains he was misquoted |

| I understand the desire to see that the PASB achieve legitimacy through a decent turnout and for it to be initiated with a more vibrant process than we've seen so far.
My start-point on the process was that it should be seen as an opportunity to formalise a clear channel of communication between club and fanbase, and those that stand for a place should be open about the topics and concerns that they would place front and centre if elected - and how they would make sure that they are connecting with the fanbase they would represent.
No need for any personal politics - Westminster is the place for that.
In general terms, the Trust has already legitimacy, based on it's structure and membership. It's external and independent and does not depend on the largesse of the club's ownership to allow it's existence.
The PASB does depend on that - and I have seen firsthand how easy it is to sweep away a structure that no longer suits the club's agenda.
So, it will be interesting to see how many votes are cast for the candidates, and on what basis - knowing that their future as representatives of the fanbase will depend on their performance in the role, not on their personal relationships with club personnel, or each other.
If the PASB is going to mean anything, the "personalities" have to be taken out of it. It has to be all about issues and process.
Otherwise, the general fanbase will continue to be as "switched off" as the general population seems to be about national and local politics. |

| Ed Shillabeer doesn't do the internet at least he didnt for the Trust elections, but most people have heard of him,and will vote for him.So "personalties" will come into this election, they always do. |

| Any real desire to reward the fans for their support during 'the troubles' should have been taken by striking a good working relationship with the Argyle Fans Trust when Mr Brent bought the club. Instead, right from the start, the GASBoard plan
The 20,000 figure was obviously obtained by adding together members of various supporters groups, season ticket holders, POTD fans, people who bought an Argyle mug and multiplying this number by 2 (at least). What was overlooked completely (for whatever reason) was that so many fans were included in so many categories.
Major decisions (like the family area plan) have been taken before the GASBoard has even got itself together (and why was this scheme announced ages AFTER season tickets went on sale?).
And despite all the time and effort being put into Salsa Verde, there won't be a representative from that group on the GASBoard.
The shambolic 'organisation' has led to even more divisions in an already pretty small fanbase - my d*ck's bigger than yours mentality to the fore. No wonder the vast majority 'don't give a damn'. |

My Dick is bigger than everybody else's, therefore there is no need for me to stand in the elections. However I may apply just so that I can have my own thread on PASOTI which wouldn't be on the banned board as I am not banned am I GHOST? |

| Anyone like to ask TC how he'll work with other nominees he's described as waifs and strays and puppets? Or how he intends to spot things going awry when he failed to see the GasBoard cock ups despite being involved from the off? Or why he values experts in their field over Joe Soap common sense janners? |

I expect it to be either ignored like the entire PASB folder or deleted. 47 Views, other than your own post 1 don't know. Even the apathetic Janners are outdoing themselves with their lack of interest in this one. |
