| Mmmmm. If he was any good would he really need to travel from Spain for a trial at a skint and struggling L2 club? I think the saying "nothing to see here" applies. |

Well Romain Larrieu and David Friio travelled from southern France to a skint and struggling L2 club, and they turned out ok. |

Yes,i think they were.Friio certainly made his debut in the mid season derby match at Exeter in Sturrock's first season.I think Larrieu made his debut in a Paint trophy match or whatever it was called,maybe they did have a trial first but it certainly wasn't in pre season.In fact,can anyone remember any player of the pre season trial nature ever being a success at HP? I think Arnesen was but can't think of any others. |
