Argyle's Academy has been granted Category 3 approval under the Elite Player Performance Plan. There were a few stories about Hodges and the youth set up last week. I think Argyle have to invest £110k per season,and the Plan will donate a further £220k (donated by Prem clubs)-

I think the EPPP kicks in soon. It's going to mean a few changes to youth training. One of the things taht has emerged in the wake of "little Messi choosing to sign for Torquay is that under 8s 9s and 10s will no longer be able to play for their DJM teams. One or two parents of lads are really pissed because they chose us rather than other clubs beacause up until now our younger boys have been allowed to play local league football. It seems that one of our local rivals has got cheesed off with loosing players to us and have got the FA involved.
