| I have only ever been to a strip club once in my life - when I was about 19. The whole thing was so sordid that I decided 'never again'! What was worse was the fact that I recognised one of the unsavoury strippers who lived along the road from me. Local Slags!!!!! |

| Anybody else remember when the Metro (in its Union Street incarnation, not the old Van Dike site) started having strippers on a couple of times a night?
It became a very strange place for a while - punks and new romantics throwing themselves round the floor, while large groups of baby matelots lurked up by the bar waiting for the stripper to come on, at which point the two clienteles swapped places. |

I'm quite hurt that you could ever have doubted me. Quite hurt. And Chemical. No. There was little or no communication between the baby matelots and the rest of us. Apart from one non-baby matelot who was in fact one of us. He was usually AWOL anyway. |

Was it Punk Britannia on BBC4? It's been on Friday nights for a few weeks now charting the story Punk. Friday's was about post Pistols Punk. I haven't watched this one yet but have it recorded. |

| My 20 year old daughter counts Poly Styrene as one of her favourites. I was too old for her. My daughter should have been too far too young. I don't know where she got it from. |

I can see myself doing that. JB "Jock can you pass on the good news that Robbie Williams has signed a new contract, and I've landed another prime contract courtesy of PCC" Me "Fat cnut signs because we're shit. Fat Cat gets fatter. Sort it oot Jimmy or ahm haeing yer kneecaps frae a new necklace, ya cnut" |
