| As they say on Exeweb, the likes of him and Tony Cholwell just do not believe in the Trust/Cooperative model in anything.
I suggested a long time ago he was an opportunist, a Caligula, and would stand for the Trust, and he denied it flat.
He obviously thinks there is a role for him at the club under Ridsdale or Brent ..... looks like we were right all along yet again.
The Trust already has one ISC member who doesn't believe in the cooperative model, so it looks like it might nbe doomed for all intents and purposes. |

Sandford, I think you are spot on. Like you and many other Grecians I would readily put my hand in my pocket and indeed actually do some fundraising for Argyle. OK, lets get one thing straight I don't like Argyle one bit, but that is down to forever being a league or two below and how I was brought up. That said Argyle are needed in football and City can only benefit from their continued existence, but with the likes of that Porkus chap involved in the Trust, those that would give time and money will give neither. I keep looking at the membership numbers of this website and see it grow. You have other fans sites which prove again there are real fans out there who stopped believing in Pasoti. That brings some hope but in truth I believe Argyle need to start again. So what if you have to go to the Conference South, who cares, you will have a club worth following again. Your Trust would dwarf ours and so it should. You will have a club with a real future, not a Club expecting to live for only one more season. |
