I have just heard myself tell the kids that they don't make thing like they used to because they are not made to last any more.
My daughter's reply?

I don't think they make bath-chairs any more.

it's a throw away society today, but were things built to last in the past? No, we just repaired, as it was cheaper, now it's cheaper to get rid & buy new Crying or Very sad
